    Styling Advice/Tips

So I've always have had thin hair. So thin you can see my scalp. It didn't bother me as much until I got a little older and really started noticing and had comments being made about it. I'm 20 now. I've tried fin for about a year and really didn't get much if any results. I went to see a derm about it and she didn't really say much, just that my hair is thin and to try rogaine and that was that. I've tried nioxin and really didn't really notice much until I stopped using it..so then I went back and started using it again.
I've been trying to find hair thickening products but haven't really found anything that's worth really considering.

My question is for anyone who maybe has the same problem or know anyone with the same problem what sort of styling advice do you have that I could use?
Or even hair thickening products that are actually worth looking into

My hair is evenly spaced out but nonetheless you can still see my scalp.
I thought about buzzing it butI'm not sure how to go about it, I had it buzzed once and the lady cut it far too short only when it grew out did it look ok

I also thought about curling it since that makes seeing through the scalp less noticeable but I haven't really been able to find any before and after photos so I'm a bit hesitant on the idea.

If any of you men or women have any advice on what I can do please let me know.

Here's some photos so you can get a better reference

I'm sorry to say that it would be very hard to style your hair in such a way that will hide your hair loss at this point, as you have quite extensive thinning all over the top of your head it appears.

The best thing to do styling-wise when your hair is thin on top is to buzz your hair down quite short.. this will minimize the apparent difference in thickness between the top and sides/back. It's crappy that we're forced into that kind of style, but it really works the best. Using hair gels and other products at this point will only make your hair appear thinner, as the strands stick together and even more scalp shows.

Keep with the finasteride and minoxidil.

I would try Toppik + volumizing hair spray or wax. Your hair has a nice wave to it which certainly helps make it seem more full. Make sure to apply the Toppik to towel or blow - dried hair.

You kind of need to buzz that off.

Or get lost in the world of concealers.

        Or both?
