What now?

Hey there, Just recently cut my hair shorter and it seems like something serious is going on here.

I have noticed the temples changing a long time ago but now it's quite horrible to me. I am still able to hide it quite well as you can see from the two bottom pictures..

My dad is bald and so are both of my grandfathers.

I'm a healthy 18 years old.. what's the treatment or at least the possible slowdown of the hairloss in my case?

We don't have much for treatments right now. You can go to a dermatologist and talk about your options.

The usual Propecia and Rogaine stuff.

The good news is you are catching it very early. Surely no one but you can tell. If I was you I would start using nizoral 2% every other day and rogaine twice a day and take pics every month or so. See if that stabilizes it. If it doesn't fin, dut, or RU58841 are your options. You could also try the laser hats some are claiming good success with them.

Mike gave some good advice. On a positive not, the way you comb your hair(in the last two pictures), you are able to hide your loss pretty good.
