    Need Advice/Encouragement

    Hello all,

I have been a lurker on this forum for almost a year now and I appreciate the knowledge of all the members. I am about to take the plunge in some fashion. Most likely with the big 3 and I'm already on nizoral. I am 22 years old but I am about to turn 23 in a month and I know now is the time to act.

I want to take propecia or something because worrying about my hair loss consumes so much of time and I feel that if I start doing anything it will help a lot (mentally). I am just really nervous about taking it, but if there is anything I would take it would be it (Propecia that is). I know that if I were to have it in hand I would take it.

And if I have learned one thing from reading this site it is to post a picture so I hope it works. My hair has gotten longer, and it is probably at a 3 or 4 guard length.

    Any advice would be great!

If you're going to do it, do it right. Get a legit prescription version. Use Rogaine foam. Get a good product like Buried Treasure's "Hair Skin and Nails". Don't baby your hair, instead after showering dry your hair, rub in Rogaine Foam, massage your scalp and brush your hair. Get plenty of exercise and eat organic produce while avoiding harmful food additives.

The best approved med to help stop your hair loss and possibly grow some back is propecia. You seem willing to take it, so see your doc and get a prescription for it.

For those who are young like yourself and already showing signs of male pattern hair loss the time to try and alter the path is now. I am assuming that you also have a family history of MPB.

I do. Every male on my paternal side is bald. First cousin on my paternal side is a NW6 and he was born four days after I was, so I am worried I could start progressing like him at any time.

Hopefully you can put a stop to your hair loss and you will be described as the one that "has hair".
