21 from London THINNIN near crown!

    Hi everybody,

Its time i looked to get some help!!
Im 21 from london and noticed ive started to thin abit near the crown area on top.

I go for a 5mile run every day therefore always having to wash my hair pretty much daily! I also have spikey hair using some hard wax like 3 times a week.

Im thinkin maybe the exessive training and use of wax is not doing my hair any good what so ever?

My front hairline is okay no real problems!

I was thinking maybe its time for me to start using propecia?

It kills me having to join this forum but hey I just have to face the facts here!

I dont use any particular shampoos or anything treatment what so ever. But im thinking if I can tackle the problem early?

The side effects of propecia does sound worrying though?

Hope some of you guys can help me and give me some advice!!

    Thanks everyone!

I agree with Spencer. Your best chance of stopping this problem early and getting control of your situation is taking Propecia. For now at least, and if something better comes along you can always switch over or change your regimen. At age 21 your hair loss is still very recent and you have a good chance of salvaging more hair than a patient who has already had hair loss for many years.
