The foam dries within a few minutes. So I would say as long as it is dry you should be good to go to bed. As far as it being safe to the touch, I don't know.

I don't give any consideration with going to sleep. I usually apply it about two seconds before I go to sleep. Maybe it gets on my pillow, but I wash all that stuff weekly. I just wash my hand with soap and water to get the residue off after applying. I doubt most people would want to touch a guys hair that just saturated it in Rogaine but if that's what your worried about, I would give it 15-20 max. Fin seems like the one the females really need to be wary about touching. Especially if they're preggers.
