Early stage of MPB: How should I treat it?

So, I've come to terms that I am in early stages of balding above my temples and ready to do something about it.

From what I've read it sounds like minoxidil is the first place to start. Should I apply it in the morning and night? Or should I start just once per day? Is there a difference between foam and liquid or is just a matter of personal preference?
Should I add add vitamins such as Biotin and Zinc to my diet?

Ultimately I want to nip this in the bud, and I just want to know the best way to start my "Regime"

Minoxidil on its own is not a good plan.

We all wish we had started with finasteride early.

The hairloss battle is all about catching it early and finasteride works on its own. Not minoxidil.

Minoxidil is a good place to start. When I started I used both morning and night. The effectiveness of the foam and the liquid should be the same, but people around here will say otherwise. I personally keep both on hand and usually use the liquid, but will use the foam if I have some place to go as it dries faster. You should experiment with both. You may respond better to one over the other. I have heard the foam doesn't irritate the scalp as much??

I am also taking biotin. I take this so my hair growth faster.

Minoxidil is a good starting point. I have seen a few that have great results on it. You might not want to hear this, but sooner or later you will need to think about going on fin. It is the best thing we have to stop/slow down hair loss. Hope this helps.

Google "the big 3 hair loss treatments" and throw the kitchen sink at it.

Finasteride is propecia. If you want to research it more the American Hair Loss Association is a good resource. There are websites out there that will do nothing but try to scare you from taking propecia. Do yourself a favor and stay off of those. Just by visiting those sites, you will end up suffering ED.

Educate yourself, but learn from reliable resources.
