greetings, i finally decided to do it. My hair loss (in the crown area) started around my mid 20s. both my older brother and dad have thick full hair, granted they have curly hair and i got stuck with my moms side of the family with straight, thin hair that essentially caught up with my age. Im now 33 and Rogaine has only done so much. I started reading this blog last year when my hair really started to thin out in the frontal area defining what would essentially be the 'bridge'.
I was and still am very worry about the results of the surgery. I really dont want a 'doll' looking hair on my head. my objective is to get my crown area filled up and behind my hair line. for some reason my hairline is intact, which is what makes me more upset. If my bald pattern was the typical male pattern i would not be so frustrated. apparently my baldness would be similar to that of a monk HORRIBLE. why can i get a more manly pattern. F it. thats why i decided to do the surgery, so i can control the way i go bald. I would rather have a recess or entries on my hair than be stuck with a perfect hairline with no hair behind. Awful, dont wish that pattern on my worst enemy
I'm here to tell my story, get some advice on post procedure care and with the Grace of God get a good work done and document my process to share with others.
WISH ME LUCK!
