My new dermatologist said it could be or couldn't be. Too early to tell he said and it would appear to be mild if it was.

So I'm at a loss as to who to see and I mean its not like there are tests to confirm or deny.
Seek consultation from another specialist or do why they suggest - wait. Idk why one recommended rogaine for a juvenile hairline though.

If it's really that slow, I'd just play it slow and just keep an eye on it. A for tests, I think getting your miniaturization mapped it what's due.

I saw the first one in 2009 right after the picture was taken in my opening post. Like I said all she said was rogaine and some biotin and threw me out the door. In 2010 I went to another dermatologist and he said MPB, but the second I said crohn's and showed him my blood work (was anemic and stuff), he goes, well now I'm not too sure.

Truth be told I go through phases of caring about my hair. And I just don't want to make a commitment on something like rogaine if its not going to do anything because this isn't typical MPB (not saying it would for sure do anything even if it was, but any % is better than 0%)

I just don't know who else to go to. According to my insurance there are no "hair specialists".

Also how do you tell about miniaturization? Honestly I'm not sure if I'm losing more hair or if my hair is just getting finer, which is the difference between 2009 to 2011 to 2013. From what I understand miniaturization is hairs getting finer and slowly shorter and shorter. I'd say a vast majority of my hairs are very fine (all over[the kind where you have to be looking to see them or put them on a white background]), but can all still grow very long.

I'll be honest man, truth is, its is almost impossible to tell with the naked eye if you are balding unless 50%, or close to it, of your hairs are at a miniaturized state. I'm sure you may be like me, and maybe feel a difference if you run your hands through and have other signs of something not being right - but that could be anything. From your pics I think your hair looks great. Angles, lighting, sweat, wet hair, gel etc all play are role with scalp being noticeable. Considering the very early stages of balding are a tough call (as things could be a maturing hairline or just overall hair changes with the body), I would go see a doctor who can either perform a miniaturization test or a bulk analysis. This way you can see if and where your hair is thinning, and if whats going on is within normal range. As 20% hair miniaturization can be normal. But from what you're showing, things look pretty good from here.

PS. I had a killer time trying to find someone who could perform these test's where I live too. But call up some reputable HT doctors, see if they can direct you, even your family doctor or dermatologist, just get on that phone and make calls. Just make sure if you see a Hair transplant doctor that they are reputable and not snake oil salesman. But those are the two tests to ask for - miniaturization tests and/or bulk analysis.
