You may want to consider visiting a doctor who specializes in hair restoration so they can keep track of the progression of your hair loss. It does come generic now so the cost has come down a bit.

Mine was today. Went for the first time and told him I was worried about my hair loss. He told me i has slight thinning on the crown and receding temples. He said if I want, he can gladly prescribe me generic propecia for a year. Super pumped to hop on it tomorrow when i pick it up from pharmacy!! Just don't know if I want to start off with .5 or 1 mg a day... probably 1.

Dermatologists for sure.

Doctor's are a bit less likely to be aware.

Thanks!! Haha well I was fortunate enough to see one of the best derms in chicago cause of a family friend so I'm super pumped and since i'm 22 and have minimal hair loss he really gave me hope that I can retain/grow my hair! I will be taking pictures every month and updates on here! Wish me luck!!
