    attention again dr. glenn charles

hi dr. charles it has become obvious to me that you are extremely knowledgeable person in the area of future breakthroughs in the field of hair restoration. as you know dr. fargo stated at the hair conference in amsterdam that latisse is effective in regrowing hair on the scalp. i have contacted allergan the makers of lattise several times and they told me that they are not researching latisse for the treatment of male pattern baldness. i do not believe them , it is obvious that if they produced latisse as a topical solution for male pattern baldness. this drug would be a blockbuster generating billions of dollars annually for the allergan corporation. what is your opinion on latisse being an effective treatment for male pattern baldness. i do not believe that it is a miracle cure for hair loss, but it would be much more effective then propecia and rogaine. thank you dr. charles, your opinion on this matter would be greatly appreciated, sincerely joe

Joe, I personally do not at this time believe there is a topical solution for MPB. If Allergan is doing some preliminary studies to see if Latisse stimulates hair growth on the scalp, they probably would not make that public information until they had more data. I am generally not a skeptical person, but I would need to see some more concrete evidence before I would recommend Latisse to my patients to regrow hair on the scalp.
