3rd Procedure with Gho

And now I have to check, whether or not they extracted again an already extracted and regenerated graft from the 2nd procedure - pretty exciting.
At least a DAY-6 and/or Day-7 photo would be really cool to check what regenerated again in my observation/monitoring area.
Anyway, your photos are pretty cool in general.Comment

Nobody on this planet can say anymore "gc is slick bald!" - this is a thing of your past, you hairy man.
By the way:
As far as I can tell from this photo, and when I look at the characteristics of hairs and distribution of grafts from your 1st and 2nd HST procedure (in the pic on the left side), it appears to me, that you already could live very well even with this rather low density. Once all the new hairs of your 3rd procedure grow out - this will already look pretty cool, I think.
So you must be very happy already, I think ...
Furthermore, also Dr. Gho can show now what he really can do even on completely slick bald scalps with his HST grafts.Comment

Agreed. One more set of pictures in 1-2 weeks should be all we need.
I know how tedious and difficult it can be to take these pictures gc but I really appreciate your effort.I think there's a lot of interesting things we can look at from your third procedure.
I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I definitely plan to do a detailed analysis of your procedures in a few weeks. We'll see what Iron_Man can come up with so maybe I'll focus on a different area.
When we combine your results with IM's, tobban's and the rest of the patients who had HST procedures and shared their pictures online, I think we're pretty much reaching a point of consensus on the donor.Comment

Wanted to comment on this as well. The progress since gc started has been amazing. Looks like he's managed to cover the entire bald spot. A few more procedures should increase the density very nicely. I'm really interested to see how far gc can go with this and what the final result will turn out. Looks very promising at the moment.
For a while, people have been asking for a transformation from Gho that isn't possible with traditional hair transplants. I think gc will be one of the first public case studies that provide this, without any scarring and minimal donor depletion on top of that!Comment

Wow - they extracted completely normal in my observation area, as far as I can see in this pic.

You don't know how happy that makes me knowing that I don't have to be that slick bald person anymore, I'm not quite the 'hairy man' though just yet.
Going to get some sun for 2 weeks on Tuesday, so I'll upload a picture on Monday night on the same monitored area.
And yes your right, I am very happy already. I could live like this and feel quite normal if the latest 1600 grow as well as the first 1400, which I'm sure they will!
Ah thanks JJJJrs for the congrats and it's no problem uploading the photos. I kind of enjoying seeing the progression and allowing other people to have their opinions on the subject and the more analysis, the better!
Have you had anymore thoughts on whether your going to see Gho or are you still waiting for more results from other patients?
And I.M will you be having another procedure 12 months or so after your 1st? I'm sure you willComment

Yeah it's exciting because it's very possible that they have extracted the same graft 3 times now and the bastard still keeps growing back

what are your future plans, you planning to go for more and if so how many grafts, my guess your donor will look untouched after 3000 grafts so it wont be limiting factor..
another big 1600 session would bring dentity up to 50 per cm2, assuming your bald area was around 100cm2 and one more 1600 grafts would match your original density
surgical cureComment

The next 1600 will probably be going into the same area or perhaps I will ask for 200 or 300 to go into the hairline to give it a slight outline. This might frame my face better whilst I keep it buzzed.
Then summer 2014 I'll go again for a further 1600 hopefully mainly in my hair line and wherever needed. I would like to think this would be sufficient for the short term at least, this will give me over 6200 grafts since the start.
What are your plans mate? You must be really considering Gho to be posting quite regular in this section! What norwood are you?Comment

im planning to see gho , the thing id dont like is ive been offered small session of 1400 and id have to have 4, around 6000 grafts..and even more if i want density as my bald area is about 180cm2..translates to many trips to hasci +time to complete journy, they really should start offering bigger sessions as high NWs will take forever to cross the finish line
if i start tommorow it will take me 3-4 years at least, now you see why hst will not become golden standard unless they up their sessionsComment

With that in mind, I think the best you would be able to get from Gho is 2000 per session. They always say e.g 1400 to be on the cautious side, but if you tell them your willing to do it over 2 days then that may help!
The 2 day thing was my suggestion to Gho, he wasn't sure at first, but a couple of weeks later he agreed and now seems happy to do it for future procedures.
I know HSI and HST are different in terms of duration, but some people like Neversaynever and c5000 struggled to get 1400 HST in one day, so time is definitely an issue!
3 sessions of 2000 9 months apart doesn't seem too bad.Comment

i asked abt 2 day sesh but they said something along the lines of 'first procedure is always 1400', they wanna see how it regenerates before they feel comfortable giving more grafts..
if 2nd and 3rd procedures are 2000-2500 each I would be happyComment

Think of it as those first 1400 as the best 1400 grafts you'll ever have. I don't know your exact circumstances, but I'm not sure what other choice you have right now in hair restoration + the longer you delay the first procedure the longer you'll wait until it's all done.Comment

That's not true, it all depends on your donor area and hair configuraton. when you consult with them they usually give you the minimum they can extract, with the possibility of extracting more during the treatment day.Comment
