Got an answer from Kristel regarding the failed extractions. I asked her why some people including me heard a lot more drilling than succesful extractions. She answered that this could be due 2 things:
1) re-drills of the same graft and/or
2) 'dry' drills that do not really go into the skin, for example disentangle the drill or clean the drill.
Since the C5000 analysis of the extraction points revealed that there weren't THAT many more extraction points on his scalp than succesful extractions (while he also experienced a lot more drilling than succesful extractions), this answer could indeed explain just that ...Comment

And then there are of course the real failed extractions, but according to her, the amount of extraction points for 1600 grafts wouldn't be higher than about 2500 (which would be inline with the C5000 analysis).Comment

And personally, I really believe her answer BUT I'm also convinced that when, in my case, the *assistant* technician took over and totally sent the drill/extraction ratio down the drain (20 drills for 3 extractions) this wasn't just to re-drilling and/or drill cleaning. In other words, in my opinion Kristel described what happens when the *technician* does the drilling, not when the assistant or office manager (or anyone else but a technician) takes over. Next time I'm going there and when the assistant takes over when the technician has a break, I'll give her a chance but if after a few cycles the ratio stays that bad, I'll suggest to wait for the technician to come back in.Comment

I still think they made a little more than 5000 holes in your donor area.
But maybe far more since the extraction ratio was around 20:3.
By the way - I thought you counted all noises you could hear of the foot pedals/clicks?
Now you counted (in addition?) all noises of the extraction tool as extractions/holes??

IM is German. In one of his screenshots it showed google.de (I think it was the one to translate the swedish website into english) and he makes a German/English phonetic conversion spelling error every now and then which confirms that. But even without it, I think it would be absurd to suggest he's working for Gho, I don't think I'd have to explain that ...Comment

ha, well maybe, but I also noticed his Youtube video was posted on youtube.be, so if I had to guess I'd say he's from Belgium.
Anyway, I had a further 800 grafts today, I asked for more (specifically to Rolf), but he said 'the donor is used'. Slightly frustrating, but also it's equally sensible, I'm more than happy to have had 1600 grafts over these two days, especially when I was told I was only having 1400.
I'll be booking in again for 9 months time as agreed with Gho for a further 2 days of treatment.
Hasci seem to be improving all the time, today I came at 7am, got started with the extractions at approx 7.30 and everything complete by approx 12. I was expecting it to take much much longer, as it did last time with less grafts!
Gho said to me today he will be offering the 'stick and place' method HSI to 'normal patients' from now. Clearly the more times they do this method the quicker they are getting, which has to be good news.
I've taken approx 70 odd photos last night, however I can't be sure which area is exactly the area Iron Man was monitoring. I've looked at my photos, on my fileden account but I think it will be better if I upload the entire lot to a dropbox account and if Iron Man wants to go through them I'm sure he will find the perfect photo.
Happy to do that IM?
Alternatively I'll just select a few photos which I think is the area that was being monitored.Comment
