I've been honest with everyone at work, and all my friends and family as I don't think getting a HT is anything to hide.

People are now starting to comment on how good it looks, which really does make me feel like it was all worth it.

So would getting another procedure 9 months after the first one do any harm to my donor? I had planned on waiting a year between procedures, but I guess I'm starting to get addicted or greedy as I don't want to wait the extra 3 months.

So I guess my question is, will I get more regeneration if I wait the full 12 months?

I'm waiting until Monday until I take the pictures as that will be exactly the same amount of time my hair had to grow from a #5 until the day of the procedure if that makes sense?

I cut my hair to a grade 5, 9 days before the procedure.

And on Monday it will be 9 days since I cut my hair to a grade 5.

This way the two photos will be better to compare as the hair should be exactly the same length.

Cool. At some point it'd be great to see a #1 or #0 so we can see how the donor area looks? Don't you want to know as well?

Yeah, I'm going to shave it right down to a zero 4 days later (the friday), so that it's at least grown in a little bit for work the following monday.

I'll try and take photos of the same area as my immediate post op photos.

              No problem.

Hopefully it will help to prove even further that regeneration is recurring.

                Hi all.

Here is a comparison of my hair just before the procedure and nearly 2 months after the procedure.

Let me know what you think.

PS. As promised, I'll be shaving my head to a number 0 on Friday, so will take lots of photos of the donor then.

I think it looks quite good, it's hard to see with the sun in the reflection of my screen

I was about to say it might look better if it were a number 1 all over, but a 0 even better. Best of luck mate.

                      Cheers Gaz.

Yeah, I'll put up before and afters at Grade 0 for the recipient and the donor to get a good comparison.

I think maybe my change isn't so noticeable as the grafts weren't placed on completely slick skin. Plus it's been less than 2 months, so these hairs are mainly just the ones that HAVEN'T shed yet.

That's great. On my first procedure I lost about 70% or more of the grafts by about week 8, i'd have to check the forums to be sure, however at exactly week 13 it was then I could see the new hairs starting to grow.

So in a few weeks time you'll be there especially if you keep it buzzed it'll look thicker IMO. Probably just a trick of the eye. (Just like Sneijder)

Yeah man, gonna keep it at a grade 3 I think.

So Gaz, do you think I should wait a full year or wait 9 months until my next procedure? I'm willing to be patient if the results will be better by waiting 12 months.

Nice ! I'm almost at week 13 and was wondering when other HASCI clients saw new hairs growing. One thing I noticed Gaz, I see quite a few tiny hairs that just haven't grown but didn't shed either. Maybe they're slightly longer than at Day 1 but not much. Did you notice this as well ? If so, did they start growing at one point or did they shed ? Just wondering ...

From what I've read, they will eventually shed. Nothing to worry about. I don't have anything conclusive and this isn't just HST that this happens, take a look at for example: http://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showthread.php?t=2404

There is probably a ton of other threads about it.
