    Other Hair Science Institute Doctors?

    Hey guys,

I'm considering getting this procedure done but i'm wondering if it really matters if its done by Dr Gho or one of the other doctors at the Hair Science Institute?

Dr Gho seems to have a very long waiting list. Is he really worth the wait?

Does anyone know how long the other doctors have been involved in hair transplantation?

Any advice is appreciated - thanks

Dr. Coen Gho (7 years 4 month)

Dr. Kristel von Herwijnen (7 years 4 month)

Dr. Freek Broekhuijse (5 years 2 month)

they all have the same long waiting list, at least, right on par.

they work close together, so it really doesn't matter which doctor performs the procedure.

Um, those aren't waiting times, those are the number of years they have in experience in their current field.

Waiting list is probably around a year for an HST.

maybe for the average joe, but if you are a medical doctor...

          ...it can take decades!

Well I heard some users having scheduled visits for next year. It cant be a DECADE or several years, that just seems unlikely.

Waiting lists are pathetic, im just hoping he sells it to somebody who knows how to run businnes..waitin a year for 1400 grafts..does he realises that its we patients who are suffering.

somebody buy them out and open 10 clinics worldwide and make a fortune,

yeah yeah I know, it sounded weird to me that anyone could believe that was the waiting list of the doctor.

8 years of waiting list lol.

I've seen some posts by some people saying they are scheduled for Gho and their wait time was about 6 months. I think Maradonna mentioned Gho being booked until 2013... I really don't think its more than 2 years, if it were that long the skeptics wouldnt be around lol, a 2 year waiting list would mean even THEY would be convinced, haha.

Anyway, I'm going to be making a phone call to their London, England clinic and seeing what I can do. I've got friends in London so I can definitely go there for a consultation and treatment..... or just visit the Maastricht as I have family not far from there either... god damn is it ever awesome to hold two passports, one beloning to the European Union and the other being Canadian.....

Yes, it's called HSI, it's what he did for me.
HSI is basically they insert the graft whilst making the hole at the same time, whilst HST is making all the holes first and then placing the grafts.

HSI is used more with riskier patients, I have scarring alopecia, so theoretically too much stress to my scalp could start it off again, but I've not had it for 20 years, so I think it's unlikely, but Gho is taking the safe option.

Bad news is HSI is a much slower procedure, it takes them all days to do just 700.
