Who's going back for a second HST? Iron Man, are you?

I'm going back for my second HST next month and just wondered who is all going back again.

Iron Man, are you going back?

Glad to hear that you're going back c5000 & Iron Man too.

I will be going again sometime next year.

Ask for Rolf to do the extractions! If you don't ask before hand then they'll probably share the duty between at least two of them.

Did you ask for Rolf to do all of the extractions Gaz? What did they say? Did they ask why?

No I haven't asked yet, but next time I go I'll be emailing before to say I want Rolf to do them all, I'm paying good money so I doubt they would deny me that.

I also noticed that Rolf is about 3X quicker than anyone else, probably because of less failed extractions and just better overall.

Don't be afraid to ask, but best to ask them before you get there!

By the way - at the moment, I have no clue ...

...where exactly my next procedure should focus on.

              1) Increasing the density all over the front area?
              2) Front area "as is" and moving forward with the still bald mid-scalp/crown area?

Or should I start to increase/improve just the hairline and/or forelock area itself and all the remaining grafts behind the front area (mid-scalp etc)?? hmmmm...

btw - for just 1400 grafts and because of the fact that I always had rather very fine hair, the result isn't that bad so far, I think. And taking photos without the usage of the camera's flash - the result would look like as all those "great before/after results" (aka "show cases") you can see online everywhere...

I'm assuming the mid scalp/crown area is almost slick...in that case go with your 3rd option, start to densify the front area and all remaining grafts in the mid scalp area. Knowing Hasci they will probably advise all hairs go in the sparser areas, but just stick to your guns!

Good to hear you guys are planning to or at least would like to go back. Makes me feel like I have made the right choice.

I emailed Hasci and requested Rolf do all of my extractions and they said that was fine, so hopefully the procedure will be quicker and there will be less failed extractions.

I'm going to put up a pic of my current scalp coverage in the next few days, to see what you guys think would be the best idea in terms of where to get the grafts placed for the 2nd HST next month.

So are you happy with how your first procedure turned out cocacola?

Im at less than 3.5 months right now. For me, 50% didnt fall out so its there growing and it looks decent. The fact that more will grow is making me even more happy. I lowered my hairline by ~1 cm and solidified another ~1 cm behind the hairline. Thing is the next place im gonna lose hair is on the crown, it is already visible. If i could get 1 to fix crown i would be good for a few years.
I will try to post pics by 4 months.

Given the recent developments it look like we will be stuck with regular transplants (like HASCI's) and current meds for a while to come. Therefore I'm considering another procedure sometime next year. I'm not sure yet if I'd go to HASCI or try Dr Wesley's scarless procedure. But it certainly has to be scarless so I guess those 2 are the only options. If I'd go back to Gho I'd definitely change doctors, I'm not happy with how Kristel placed my grafts, some are clearly not angled correctly. I've seen better results from Dr Gho. Therefore IF I'd go back, I'd make sure to get Gho + Rolf, I think that's the best way to ensure a decent result at HASCI.

Hasci definitely seems like the best option available at the moment and I really don't see the point in waiting any longer. So I will keep going there until something better turns up.

Arashi, what do you think is wrong with the angle of your grafts? Gho did mine and my grafts have only just started to sit a bit more normally (11 months after procedure)... apparently this is normal, apparently it takes a while for the skin to soften.

Deborah will be doing my procedure next month.

Has anybody had a procedure from her? Is she good?
