If nobody can be motivated even with a plane ticket, a hotel stay, free 100 graft in recipient and $1500, maybe we'd have to look at getting more grafts indeed instead of offering money. It might be an option if the grafts are implanted into a a bald area. Of course a 50 graft test would be much easier to monitor but I think 2000 grafts can be monitored, als long as everything is tranplanted onto slick bald area. I'd have to think about it.Comment

Or maybe we'll just have to wait for Mwamba's results on the tests he's currently conducting. This is what Tom recently said regarding Mwamba: "we will test now on about 10 peoples 4 area, with semi permanent tatoo, around 50 single graft very well localised. Then we will count the exact % of regrowth in terms of graft AND hair."
So that's pretty much what we need anyway. If nobody can be motivated with a plane ticket, hotel stay, 100 free grafts in recipient and $1500, then I guess we should just wait for Mwamba to conclude his own 50 graft tests.Comment

Censur tell us about your situation, how far you from Brussels, what nw, do you have any slick bald spots, are you ok with taking good quality photos?Comment

Thanks for the offer Censur, but I don't think Mwamba is taking in patients for that procedure just yet. He's still experimenting and going back for India for more trainig from Dr Nigams. Furthermore I'd prefer to see a bit more regular poster, so we know he's a steady forum visitor and likely to keep coming back.Comment

One idea regarding your offer to send someone to Dr Nigam would be to talk to Nigam about this and perhaps have him do the 50 graft test on this test subject - and also give the test subject, lets say 2000 grafts, or something like that for free while he's at it, placed in another area. Or if not free, with a big discount.
Perhaps he would do that as a marketing effort.
After all, if this 50 graft test is successful, hundreds or thousands of people will be coming to his clinic from these forums right away.
I'm a very regular visitor, but perphaps not so regular poster.
I just updated my own thread with some photos I took of my hair today, after my HST about six months ago:
Hi everyone, I am now finally going for my first procedure: a HST of about 1200-1400 grafts with HASCI in London, with dr Deborah Smaall, this coming monday! Because of the extreme importance this has to me, I would really appreciate some feedback before I do the surgery. Here is my old thread describing my hair loss andComment

Arashi,didi,
I did a doubling on a forum viewer from uk yesterday.
He will be back after45 days for his HM injections
Just to let you all know,mwamba/nigam clinic at brussels for doubling should be operational by 2014 at brussels,in most probability, unless some technical obstacle comes.
Apart from, these test cases, how do we prove.
Even publishing clinical study in journals, is also not 100% proof.
Many research and study papers are being published, claiming to have partially solved various issues related to MPB cure..
still, no clinic has claimed of even having solved (small issue like) scar or white dots of fue(except us and hst,may be partially by dr cole, may be wesley )
Another option would be, have a slick bald guy from forum,on whom we can do a patch test of 50 grafts,at a particular area of his scalp....and to motivate him,we would do free(cost to cost) doubling on his rest of the scalp...
this approach will not interfere with the patch test area.
As on today, the best approach is denovo..
Arashi,
Jahoda mentioned partial success with his 3d culturing to grow human neo follicles,as the epithelial component was missing.
Just to remind you,we do not miss the epithelial component in our HM protocol,as we culture epithelial hair stemcells separately and 3d dp cells separately..and inject both.
The issue in 3d dp culture in spheroids which need to be overcomed is ..mass scale production and supply of oxygen, nutrients at the core of the spheroid.
Which will be taken care of shortly n coming months...with pva coated 96 well tubes, PDMS arrayed in a TCPS culture plate,
and with few other ways of co culturing epithelial and mesenchymal hair cells in layers...and/or with various scaffolds.
Also remember ,we also use freshly isolated dp cells..which are trichogenic for atleast 1week,if injected within this period..there are around 1000 dp cells per hair follicle.
Also remember the 3d spheroids to fully trichogenic ,needs SHH signalling for activation...we have partially solved this issue of 3d spherid activation by SHH.Comment

Even I would probably do it.
But I do realize that it would perhaps be a bit too generous.Comment

question for Dr. Nigams
Dr. Nigam-
Seeing as your hair multiplication technique seems to be much better than what companies like histogen and replicel are trying to get passed, is there any chance that yours can get approved in the united states or europe, or that the changes that you have made to improve efficacy might be adopted by these other companies? Do you share information with histogen et al? For those of us not wealthy enough to travel around the globe to fix our hair, is there any hope for a good injectable treatment on the near horizon? Also, I have tried to contact you via your website email and have had no success. I was wondering if you've made any progress on establishing a clinic in Dubai, as I will be there for work in december.
I am in the early stages of hair loss and believe that your HM technique could be a huge boon in staving off further loss, especially as the effects that propecia has on my body have made me realize that it is indeed a poison- one which i think most men will eventually come to regret ingesting. I also hope that you will consider the effect of propecia on the brain before prescribing it to your patients, i think it's ludicrous that a drug that stops the action of such an important enzyme is allowed on the market. I gave it a fair trial, and I cannot fathom how a drug that makes my testicles hurt all day and makes my head hurt and feel foggy can be doing absolutely nothing to others. I'm sure it will affect them in time, or they simply cannot feel the negative effects. The standard treatments at this point in time are a complete joke, and I thank you for your stalwart experimentation. ThanksComment
