This doesn't look like virgin donor, compare density, calibre and consistency of harvested area to untouched area.
Rmbr at one point you will want to grow this hair longer. gC cant afford to lose any more hairs on sides, it will look like disease
I agree with Didi here. The human eye is trained to notice what's unnatural. If hair is thinner on top, most people won't think something is 'wrong', since that's just natural. But if your donor starts to look visibly thinner, people will start to wonder if you're sick. At least that's the first thing that comes to my mind when I see something with unnatural thin donor.
Now I'm not saying GC is at this point yet. I don't know, we can only tell in a few months when his hair is longer. But I agree with Didi that it at least seems he's getting close to that point.
To me this looks like somebody who has a disease. Now again, I'm not saying GC is at this point yet. Maybe he's got more to go. But I think anybody should avoid getting to the point the guy in the photo is. It's like the duckface of hair transplant. The point where you just took it TOO far. You really want to avoid that in my opinion.
He shouldnt be deluding himself thinking his donor is still good when it looks like its moth eaten and overharvested , if I can see it in picture people can see it in broad daylight,

Agreed again. I know people always say f*ck it, I want to live NOW. But you will regret it when you're older. That guy in the picture just wishes he had a 'normal' horseshoe look. He'd just look bald. Now he looks NASTY. People will stare at him and wonder what's wrong.
Maybe we'll have something in 10 years. A real cure. But man with all disappointments this year has brought, it really seems there's not too much in the pipeline anymore. Tsuji lab seems the most promising, but who knows, it might even take longer than 10 years or never come to fruition. You're taking quite a gamble in my opinion when you're going to be dependent on that.
Again, I want to stress it: maybe Gaz is not there yet. But just careful analyse the situation with longer hair and see if you can take it further or not. I find it difficult to tell from the pictures with millimetered hair. But to me it seems you're getting close to the point where taking it further just is not going to improve the situation but will make it worse. I might be wrong of course.
True that, I hope pilofocus delivers, if he got some regeneration it will be awesome, without regeneration it will be ok but we saw in GCs case absence of white dots doesn't solve problem of 'gaps'
He is far from having a depleted donor + I repeat for the third time, he is 8 months away from final regrowth in donor, leave it a bit of time.
I think this one month post op HST4 is great and will be better.
You should shave your heads and shot your donor, you will see, GC is not so bad.
That's why I repeated several times that I don't know if he's that far and we'll need to see the result in a few months. I think he might be getting close to it though but I might be wrong. We'll see.
I don't want GC to look like swiss cheese. that's all.
he should stop harvesting sides.period.Use crown instead, he got healthy crown that's not going bald.Gc dnt have typical MPB.
Gaz should just carefully evaluate in a few months. Maybe he can go one time more, who knows. He's come a great way, his result is fantastic, I would feel very bad for him if he ruined everything by taking it TOO far.
Fair comments about going too far. To be honest if I go again I'll tell them not to take any from sides.
Didi made point about taking from crown area. Personally I think that is a step too far but I see his point. Below my scar area how low down into the neck can they extract from? Cos I have Shit loads of hair there still.
I would check your sides in february, see if gaps have stayed or if there have been regrowth.
then decide, I would go in hair from below your scar before considering crown... as I told you, I think that with another 1800, you 'll be find for a good time... + you are not affected by MBP....
means you'll have plenty of time to wait for a better multiplication treatment.
Your bridging is succesfull.... one more HST5 and just enjoy life until some treatment will allow you to have a Jake Gyllenhal density, LOL

Yea hopefully there will be more regrowth over the coming months, but I think most of the regrowth happens with the first few weeks. Having said that I seem to have loads of pimple spots on my head, might be a coincidence or perhaps a few more hairs breaking through hopefully.
About the MPB that you and Didi just mentioned. You've both said I'm not effected by MPB, but surely I could start losing it from my crown in the next few years? and if I move those into the recipient then I will probably lose them too as they won't be DHT resistant, no? Are you saying because I'm 30 it would have started by now? Sorry for all the questions, but when it comes to MPB I know absolutely nothing!
What I do know for sure is that I have lost hair due to MPB from the frontal areas, either side of my forelock, so I just assumed that maybe over time I will lose a bit in the crown too.
