I'm willing to pay Thane $10.000 myself !!!

We'd have to work out the deal, I think the best way would be to deposit the money at a US notary (if Thane is american), in an escrow account. I'd pay the notaries cost up til $1000 and will draft up a small contract that the notary should release the money to Thane if there's convincing proof he's gotten at least 37.500 hairs (which could be estimated by analyzing the hair/cm2 on a few places on his scalp). I'd want to visit Thane in person of course.

You can of course put in some money too Dr Nigams, if Thane wants more than $10.000. But I'm dead serious here. If Thane is interested, let me know and we'll work something out. However, I want to make sure that you're not wasting my time. So if he's gotten less than 10k grafts at 2.5 hairs, so 25.000 hairs (so I'm willing to skip those 12.500 hairs) and/or his donor visibly got thinner, then YOU have to pay the notaries costs plus $5000 to ME. This money should be deposited at the same notary and escrow. Sounds like a fair deal ? If you're confident your therapy works, then this is a free and great motivation for Thane to come back and prove your therapy, right ?
Good idea to incentivise progress with money, kinda like the X-Prize of baldness.

Serious question though - wtf do you do as a job? or is this just savings?

I started as a professional trader on the Amsterdam Options Exchange in 1999. After a few years left the company I worked for, together with the 3 best traders, and we started our own firm, which ran quite succesful.

So, made enough money to be able to do things like this. And it's about damn time we find out if this surgery works or not. So I'm happy to help out here the way I can.

                    Wow, fair play Arashi

I've always wanted to get into trading but never been able to. Seems really tough to break in

So I am completing accountancy exams which will hopefully allow me to get in that way

                    Sorry for off topic

Can you teach us how to trade successfully, most traders lose money or give us tips which stocks/options to buy, its not going to affect your trades/profit as you would get in/out before we do...win win

Haha guys come on, leave Arashi alone, I'm sorry I asked. Let's get back to Nigam. Arashi you should email Nigam or something and let him know your offer. Even though I think you'd be better off investing the money yourself into a hairloss company seeing as you have knowledge of stocks and quite a lot of insider information from this board.
