Bloody hell, only 3 weeks, best start booking train/hotel etc....Well I'm probably going to shave it tomorrow to the same length as the pictures I did after my 3rd HST.
BTW I know this is the wrong thread, but a few people have said recently that Hasci won't do 3000 grafts because they haven't even managed 2000 yet. Aim4hair had 2080 last year, according to him that was the limit on the website at the time and with it now increased to 3000 he is hoping to get exactly that on his next procedure.
gc83uk's september '13 procedure.

I think you said you were going to be extremely busy in the days before your surgery ? Are you planning to start shaving your hair and start shooting pictures therefore this week ? I think that would be the best idea, right ?

It's on September 10th and 11th. I'm expecting at least 1400, but I'll ask for 1600.Leave a comment:

Gaz, when exactly is your procedure in september ? I think it was around 10 ? Also, how many grafts are you exactly planning to get this time ? And are they going to work on you for 1 or 2 days ?Leave a comment:

Cheers lads.
c5000: I suppose my head is either avg or below avg size, definitely not large.
What is your current situation? I can't remember ever seeing your recipient result, just the donor area. Best way to work out how many grafts you need is to work out the area cm2 which you're targeting, aim for around 50 grafts per cm2, deduct what you have in the same area and you have your answer.
Or upload a new pic and I'll give you my best estimate.Leave a comment:

Thats great improvement. I actually think that after 2 more (including the one in september) you will achieve somewhat 60-70% of original density which to the untrained eye, is undetectable.Leave a comment:

Ignoring all the counting of grafts, hairs, donor regeneration etc, looking just at where you've come from to where you are just now, a month before your FOURTH procedure really does seem to suggest that there is regeneration going on. The fact that you can go for more procedures just strengthens the case for believing regeneration is happening.
Gaz, would you say you have an average sized head or is it smaller or larger than average? The reason I ask is that my head is pretty large and I just want to compare the number of grafts you've had to how many I think I'd need.
PS my second procedure is in December and I cannot wait!!Leave a comment:

I'll lightly exfoliate and rub the hair slightly. That should be fine.

Something like that would be excellent. But maybe even a regular shampoo + rubbing with a towel just before shooting the pics would be enough. His skin seems only slightly oily. If not, something like you suggested could be tried, should do the job for sure.Leave a comment:

The only thing you can do is to make sure that your skin is as 'dry' as possible before taking the photo's. You could try a skin cleaner product designed for oily skin and after washing just rub it with a towel as dry as possible. It also ensures better photo's since oil on skin causes more light reflections (this I also noticed while taking pictures of my own scalp so I did myself what I just suggested and that worked great).Leave a comment:
