That's basically my issue with it right now. We still don't have a proper vehicle and I don't entirely trust the online sources that are selling it. I'm not the type who likes to do a lot of experimenting until I hear more from the safety trials and other people's experiences on it. CB is a corticosteroid and a prominent side-effect of those is skin atrophy (thinning of skin). So I'm still concerned about that.
I'm definitely keeping a close eye on it though and it does have a lot of potential given that it shouldn't affect your hormone levels.
a second HST session in september

Haven't tried RU, mainly because it's an anti-androgen so there's a strong potential for side-effects. I don't really want to play around with my hormones, regardless of the state of my hairloss. Doesn't help that the only place you could get it is sketchy online sources.Leave a comment:

Don't really have a plan right now. I buzzed my hair over the summer. Thought it would be terrible at first but I've got to the point that I like the look now. So I'm not in a big urgency to do anything at the moment. I'm at the stage where I'm starting to come to terms with my hairloss.
Everything that is offered today has serious issues though:
finasteride/minoxidil -> side-effects
FUT/FUE -> scarring, limited donor
HST -> limited donor, thin recipient results
concealer -> high maintenance, social stigma
Honestly, I don't see a whole lot in the pipeline for the near future. Possibly CB. But I'll continue to follow the forums, and who knows, maybe something will pop up suddenly.Leave a comment:

nope, I canceled, to much of controverse on it.
a second HST would bring me to a 19000 € spending. I am OK with that only if it's 85% regeneration guaranteed and controverse and HASCI reaction demotivated me.
there is too much blur and doubt there.
I will wait that they bring us more amazing transformations proofs.
And in the meantime I wait for Mwamba's outcome.
what about you, guyz? am asking everyone, what's your plan?
I'm going back next year for HST, in my opinion there is around 50% donor regrowth, but closer to 35% when you factor in the poorer recipient regrowth compared to FUE. For me that is good enough reason to have HST.
c5000 is going again in December
Iron Man is also going in Decemeber
Arashi is also considering going for a small procedure 400-500 grafts in his hairline to basically do a full analysis and count failed extractions etc.
I don't know about anyone else.Leave a comment:

1400 gho grafts equals 800 FUE...drop in the ocean,
yes you will have scarless donor after 2-3 procedure but your recipient will need 10 such procedure if you are destined to become nw6.
Look Dean S, 3 years on, 5000+ grafts and still as bald as fck..
if you are low nw2-3 its a good procedure provided you have money but still there are skilled fue doctors in Europe who could do excellent job in one pass, cheaperLeave a comment:

At the moment I think a 3000 graft FUE session is the best I can get to frame my face and then get SMP in the crown. I have a consultation booked with Gho but it is a last resort if for whatever reason I don't go ahead with FUE. Gho is too expensive and the fact he can only do around 1400 grafts a year sucks complete donkeys nutsacks.
Going to see what this Pilofocus and Nigam stuff is all about first.Leave a comment:

So if you go to Gho you are actually getting less than 50% regen. You are also getting mainly single grafts not doubles or trebles.....according to you guys?
If that is the case, that's pretty crap. Especially seeing as you are paying per graft and you may only be getting single hairs whereas with another clinic who would be able to extract grafts with doubles and trebles intact, meaning a thicker head of hair for less money.
There may be reasonable regen, so your donor may be better off, but your recipient area is getting ripped off.Leave a comment:
