Let me and others look ...
So when Dr. Gho reported just ONE case with around 13,000 HST grafts, it "seems odd" that unfortunately THIS ONE is one of the other 99% of all cases, who do not post on hair loss forums??
Your thinking is odd - that's everything what's "odd" here.
With HST, why can't you cover the whole head?

Thing is that IF donor regeneration would really be 80%, then what better way to prove it as to show a patient who gained 10k grafts in recipient by only sacrificing 2k in donor ? The mere fact that Gho hasn't produced even just 1 such a photo is quite suspicious.Odd? Not at all ...
In fact, and according to the Kobren/Gho interview around 1 year ago, Dr. Gho reported around 5000 clients - again, around 1 year ago.
HOW MANY of them reported their cases on hair loss forums??
Not even 1% of them!
There are around >1000 hair transplant doctors around the globe. How many brand new HT cases in general could you find THIS WEEK on hair loss forums??
Yeah, I know - math is not so easy ...Leave a comment:

The fact that less than 1% reported their cases is totally irrelevant. Less than 1% are probably aware of hair loss forums or are members of hair loss forums.Odd? Not at all ...

My point was that verifiable documentation should come from HASCI themselves, patients are not expected to convince the rest of the hair loss community. If you look on HASCI's site, all their cosmetic results photos are results that could be achieved with a traditional HT (donor scarring notwithstanding)Leave a comment:

Agreed that it seems odd that the max we've seen is 5k grafts.Leave a comment:

Yeah but apparently Gho has been doing this since 2005 (I think) with over 3000 procedures. Surely there is ONE that would be happy for their result to be published (from a NW6/7 back to a full head).
Seems odd...Leave a comment:

By the way - the guy got really almost 12,000 grafts?Look at this guy, he's gotten a total of over 11.600 grafts via regular FUT and FUE (and micropigmentation). I think his donor just looks utterly weird though

I mean, IF this is his result (taken from your link and the guy's gallery)...
... the "result" looks almost the same ...
Gaz. Just wondering how your progress is going? How is your hair looking after your 3rd procedure? Are you going back this year?
... as caddarik79's current and "disappointing" 9 month HST situation ...

I think I've read that Gho supposedly had said that they have such a client but that that client didn't want pictures in the public. Which I can imagine. But at the same time is really a shame cause that would be REALLY interesting to see.Leave a comment:

Now the really interesting question is: how would a scalp with 11.600 grafts transplanted via HST look ?Leave a comment:

For example this picture: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-77X4chC-33...0/DSC_0158.jpg to me just looks VERY unnatural and weird. Like he's got some kind of disease. It's the kind of scalp you keep staring at and thinking "someting IS wrong here"...
I'd like to think I would go bald gracefully rather than look like that. Even for the amount of grafts his recipient is nothing special.Leave a comment:

Agreed. To me this isn't an improvement over his initial situation at all.Leave a comment:
