I heard from Kristel that James has very thick hair, which would make it hard to get 3 hair graft, hence she said it would probably be mainly 1 and 2 hair grafts. We'll see. Excited !

i would be surprissed and disappointed if hasci cant find 17 triplets, you must be joking.... they dont need to limit themselves to small area when harvesting, focus is on recipient not donor, as for donor i already know whats gonna happen...we have seen it 100s of times

It's not so much finding 17 triplets, Kristel said James has very thick hair which makes transplanting triplets more difficult.

In the mail I've got from here pre-op she said:
"We are going to count the hairs in the grafts, but he has very thick hair, so the chance that a 3 hair graft will fit into our needle is small"

Haven't heard anything yet from either James or Kristel post-op ...

hmm, now theya re admitting 3 hair grafts are hard to extract with .6mm needle, something fue docs have been saying for a long time...

while hasci was saying hst technique is more suitable for multihair grafts..2s and 3s...

looks like Gc also had thick triplets....no wonder their results look thin cause triplets are not used......

how come they dont try to use .7 or .8mm punch exclusivly for 3s...it would make sense

They're saying that if you have thick hair, 3 hair grafts might not fit into their needle.

If I remember correctly, GC doens't have much triplets at all, mostly 1's and 2's in his donor.

That is correct, I find it difficult to see many triples in my donor, it is indeed mainly 1's and 2's.

Another point I would like to raise, I was under the impression that Hasci doesn't extract 1 hair grafts because well Iron Man says they don't or along those lines.

If they do indeed extract singles then this might at least explain why some singles are singles and not doubles.

I have also taken a new photo of my HST1 and HST2 areas today and it seems there are slightly more 2 hair grafts than originally thought. I'll upload it later tonight.

Hi mate, no you haven't received an email because I've only just read these last few posts

I don't really have any update from NSN, we have emailed back and to a little over the last couple of weeks, but he hasn't updated me on his donor area nor has he sent any photos of his donor area. I have emailed him again a couple of times over the last few days asking if he can send over a photo of the 468 extraction area, but I guess he is busy.
