Thanks dr cole for this explanation, my doctor diagnosed it as shock loss probably because i lost around 30 % density in just 20 days after my first prp session and as naive as i was, i went for another one only to get more shedding which still continues after 3 months of my first session.Anyways, is there a hope of getting hair due to shock loss back, i thought shock loss could happen only with transplants. If yes, how much time should you wait when you say the game is over?thanks

    Navi,

I am still shedding in a highly abnormal rate. I cannot and have not worn my hair down in months because the hair falls is ridiculous.

I think it was unethical to have performed PRP on me.

Actually now that you mentioned it I remember losing the corners of my hairline, behind my already bald temples where it meets the side of my head and not recovering that portion of terminal hair. Peach fuzz replaced that portion. The top and crown came back. Hairline grew peach fuzz

Did you lose hairline also while you were shedding, it is hard to think that you can lose ur hairline and then grow it back, i mean a lost hairline almost means that it has gone forever

A couple of people asked me if I had colored my hair. It also grew a bunch of peach fuzz along my hair line. The slightest improvement overall.

I am about four months post PRP with Dr. Greco. My extreme shedding that started the day after my treatment has not let up. I am way worse off and I do not anticipate a turnaround at this point.
My hair was worse. My shed was so bad I thought I was going to be bald within 6 months. Then one day, the shed just seemed to stop

When I had my 1st PRP treatment I shed a TON of hair between the 1st and 3rd month. So much so I thought PRP didn't work. Around the 4th month the shedding stopped and what I lost came back by the 6th month.
