That's because this is only one part of a two part study. The clinical trial is to test effects in vivo, this study is confirm the mechanism of action which they can't really do in vivo. The exciting part here is they have confirmed that scalp follicles are susceptible to the hair growing mechanism that results in longer eyelashes.
It basically proves that bim will grow hair. The trials will tell us how much it can grow and whether it's enough to be cosmetically significant. As you said, the in vivo results will be the acid test.Comment

No, it indeed was latanoprost, but these are very similar drugs.
Anyway, I think my point was, I'd like to see trials of either of these agents, using human beings.Comment
