Cutting edge treatments in conjunction with HT

    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could educate me on how treatments like Replicel would work on those who have already had hair transplants. I do no fall into that category, but may eventually, especially if we will not be seeing a breakthrough in the next five years. I'm not sure if there is any difference at all, but figured others may have some ideas on possible drawbacks. Thanks for any info.

    Hi there!

From what I have gathered , as long as you have some healthy donor hair to take a punch biopsy from, then you are still a candidate for these new treatments on the rise. Apparently replicel is going to release some more news on their treatment this month sometime , but we will have to wait and see. I'm not getting excited just yet.

    Take care.

Question is though are you still eligible for say a Replicel or Aderans treatment in the frontal third if you've had hair transplanted there? Or do they mean yes they can be used in conjuction, hair transplant to the hairline/ frontal third and cell treatment in the crown.

Does HT kill dormant follicles? It may do though I can't say for sure. Perhaps it can boost some miniturising remaining native hair amongst transplanted hair.

        !

I 'd really like to say they will work in conjunction with a HT, but like you said there is no way to be sure until some more information is released . fingers crossed they will!
