So apparently this guy used Latisse on his hairline and it thickened it up. I believe it said Dr. Bauman has been prescribing it to patients with 70% success. Interesting!
Latisse has been used on hairlines with some success

I don't know if anyone should take this sort of anecdote as indication that bimatoprost really is effective at addressing baldness. Here's a clip of a hair-transplant surgeon saying he achieved no positive results from trying it on a patient of his:So apparently this guy used Latisse on his hairline and it thickened it up. Besides, Latisse runs ~$150.00 for 3mL. If you were to use two milliliters/day (as is suggested with minoxidil), you'd run a monthly bill of $3,000.00. I know people in this forum love to jump all over the place hollering, "MONEY'S NO OBJECT! I'D MORTGAGE MY LIFE IN A HEART-BEAT FOR A SINGLE HAIR TO EMBRACE MY SHINY HEAD!" but a price-tag like that just is unreasonable for most people (figure $36,000.00/year for the potion).Comment

The reporter says, right before, "Dr. Bauman measured no visible changes in pigmentation, length, and thickness of Howard's hair"; I think Howard's "so far, so good; I'm completely satisfied" comment is to convey he has no regrets about giving the treatment a shot.Comment

While i don't think the product is ready for prime time yet. At least it's a start in the development of a new therapy.
Also if you listen closely to the clip the commentator did not say no change he said noticeable change. I had to listen to it three times to be sure.Comment

I think you might be right: "no visible" might be "noticeable" (1:50, in the clip).
How much of the stuff was used, anyway?Comment

I read an article saying the guy (who was only a norwood 2) used 3 drops per temple a day, each bottle contains 60 Drops, so each bottle will only last 10 days...if you were a norwood 3-4 you would need more drops, so this seems a bit too expensive even at £17 a bottle...Comment
