I dont know what you guys think, but this article here conducted by Greg Maguire (creator of HSC) that seems to be describing a "blinded investigative study" into natural growth factors just seems totally unprofessional and full of bullshit:

.....And by their fruits you shall recognize them.

Before you guys all get your hopes up over this product, ill just repost a comment left on hairsite by a user known as "Iron_Man" in which he compares the products authors (Dr Greg Maguire) comments against the comments of an author of another known scam product called CyGenX.

I think it is a wonderful reality check:

I just did an “IronMan-Quick-Research” (IMQR) and now I have a simple QUESTION:
    --------------------------------------
    Author: CyGenX Inc.

Hair growth is maintained through a cyclic process that includes a periodic stem-cell-dependent regeneration of hair follicles. The hair cycle consists of three defined stages: growth (anagen), followed by regression (catagen) and rest (telogen). Growth of a new hair requires reentry into anagen, a process involving activation of multipotent epithelial stem cells residing in a specialized part of the follicle outer root sheath (ORS) known as the bulge. Activating signals emanate from adjacent mesenchymal cells (dermal papilla), directing epithelial stem cells to migrate and differentiate to regenerate the hair bulb, the structure from which a new hair will emerge. Multiple signaling pathways, including Wnts, Sonic hedgehog (Shh), and TGF-beta family members have been shown to promote anagen initiation.

Hair is maintained through a cyclic process that includes periodic regeneration of hair follicles in a stem-cell-dependent manner. The hair cycle consists of three defined stages: growth (anagen), followed by regression (catagen) and rest (telogen) (Fig. 1A) (1). Growth of a new hair requires reentry into anagen, a process involving activation of multipotent epithelial stem cells residing in a specialized part of the follicle outer root sheath (ORS) known as the bulge (Fig. 1B) (2–4). Activating signals emanate from adjacent mesenchymal cells (dermal papilla), directing epithelial stem cells to migrate and differentiate to regenerate the hair bulb (Fig. 1B), the structure from which a new hair will emerge (2–5). Multiple signaling pathways, including Wnts, Sonic hedgehog (Shh), and TGF-β family members have been shown to promote anagen initiation, yet the exact mechanism by which hair follicles regenerate is not clear (5–7).

testimonials usually indicate a scam, I'd rather wait for some concrete evidence.

Testimonial 6 : Hair Stemulating Complex
After many disheartening attempts to find a product that would actually stimulate hair growth, I had come to the realization that it was a lost cause, and I would eventually have to invest in a wig. I was told about BioRegenerative Sciences and I have been applying the hair stimulating serum for approximately 8 weeks, and the results are amazing. I now have hair growing where before there was just a very shiny scalp. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone suffering from hair thinning. In my opinion, it is a wonder serum. Deborah Roberts

This is the only testimonial regarding their HSC. This indicates (or should indicate) that it can treat areas that are COMPLETELY bald...so also the hairline area of course. It doesn't say anywhere on the website how to apply the product though.

JCM I know you're with me on that. I like the part about HSC where you don't have to apply it for another 3 months, which makes it affordable. By the way, do they know that their name is almost identical to that of Histogens HSC? (stimulating vs. stemulating).......

It seems very legit...unlike TRX2 where there are no photos whatsoever. Here they only have one testimonial though...but according to international trade and business law...if the only testimonial is positive and if the pictures show positive improvements, that's what you should expect. If not, you get a refund, and they also offer a refund, so that's good.

Do oyu get a shed from this product like minoxidil? A lot of people who have used minoxidil on the hairline got a horrible shed and it never grew back...I don't want the same thing to happen to me. If there is a chance that this product makes your hairline disappear...I don't think I want to take that risk.

Thanks UK. BTW, I remember you asking me if I would try this product, and looking into it, it does seem very interesting...however, they do not have FDA approval. I know that you will be trying this product, but I would like to ask you now what makes you believe this will work and why are you risking getting scammed?

Honestly, I would consider this myself, but currently I'm content getting scammed by the TRX2 product. I have standards too, 1 scam at a time.

It actually sounds worth a try. But I'm getting small gains with Minox on my hairline at present so will stick with that. So UK - I'm going to monitor your progress chap, and ready some piss taking comments if you get ripped off haha.

Hopefully you'll sprout a new hippy hairdo, and I'll dive in and order some myself

I prefer to die with my hair than live another 20 or 30 miserable years suffering every second of them.
It does seem too good to be true...but if this works it would be amazing, its crazy to think that a company like Histogen who have been working on such a sophisticated formula, then this small company comes up and blows out everything out from the water with just a topical?! too good to be true indeed.

within a few weeks the company will start receiving male donor skin and that is when they will release the "male" version. She explained that the female version would work however it is believed that male stem cells may secrete a slightly different arrangement of growth factors, a "stronger" signal if you will.
Does this mean the company hasn't even tested the product yet, but they're going to sell it anyway?! I get that this company is not going the FDA route, so they're not doing FDA-supervised clinical studies, but what evidence do they have that the product works? Even if it does work, how could they know how effective it would be, or whether it would work for everyone? How would they know if it was any better than the FDA-approved products currently on the market? Crochetg, did any of this come up in your conversation with Cheryl?

Regarding your sources, I also saw a few posts from people who had experienced success from their I-Ease product, but this is in no way a reflection of how successful HSC will be of course.
This is one thing that confuses about this company and makes me think maybe they aren't the typical hair loss scam. They do seem to produce other (legitimate) products. Do any of the well-known scam companies sell other products unrelated to hair loss?

I believe it wouldn't make that big of a difference, but it doesn't really matter if they are making the male version does it? If its really a matter of weeks ill wait. If not ill be experimenting with the female version. I hope it goes well! If anyone has already ordered the female version please chime in! i doubt there are many though.
I couldnt answer that question, you are better off asking BRS themselves, and to be honest, they even state on their website that there is nothing wrong with men taking the compound designed for women. I however would honestly wait for the mens version, atleast then you will know with 100% certainty that if this doesnt work... it really doesnt work lol.
