hey guys, long time propecia user (5 yrs) looking for some advice. I am especially ager to learn from people who have had some background taking propecia. My question is: is it worth taking proscar instead of propecia. In terms of dosage i would be looking to move from 1 mg to 2+mg

if you're willing to take Proscar, then why not just skip ahead to Dutasteride? It's been shown to be more effective for hair loss.

Dut is a very powerful drug, I'd suggest speaking with your doctor before trying dut.

I know Dr. Bernstein has mentioned bumping patients up to 2.5mg finasteride once it starts to lose effectiveness.
