    YES!!! THIS!!!

I think if Nameless has something positive to say that's great. But to just have a whinge based on his opinion and the size of his bank account isn't fair for the rest of us.

I've had a HT. I have a FUT scar. I'm pretty depressed about it.

But luckily I'm in a good career and can afford to goto Asia and pay for this when its released.

IF something else comes along while I'm enjoying my histogen that's great for me.

And great for hundreds of thousands of other men around the world.

The size of a person's bank accounts is a key issue. Many people here can not afford repeated trips to Asia which means air-fare + hotel stays + restaurant food, + the cost of the Histogen treatments each trip + misc. So people's bank accounts are a relevant issue unless you're willing to pay the expenses for everyone who can't put that much money into a treatment. And we don't even know for sure yet that repeat trips would produce better results anyway. While it's true that repeat treatments might bring better results that isn't proven yet.

I agree that having something on the market that would actually do what we want it to do would be an improvement for the market but the fact remains that most of us here can not afford repeat trips to Asia to pay for it even if it is the holy grail. I might be able to afford 2 or 3 trips but that's all. And even if 2 or 3 trips would get me a full head of hair I believe I would have to keep going back to Asia once a year or so to preserve that full head of hair once I recovered it. I believe this because Histogen's last study showed the subjects got some improvement but lost that improvement at about the 12 month mark. Even if Histogen does prove to be the holy grail most of us here at this site won't be able to take advantage of it.

          LOL!

When did it come to pass that only "positive" posts are allowed here?

Just because you're in a fragile state right now due to your botched hair restoration efforts does not mean that you get to silence the people who
have a negative view of treatments that you are hoping will bring you salvation. Pixel, I hope histogen works as much as you do but I'm a lot less
hopeful about it than you are. And I do want it to work.

It's a mistake for you to let your yearning lead you around by the nose. Logic should come first. Histogen is not proven yet and so far it's results
have been disappointing. If Histogen's results were earth-shattering then the company would not have been struggling to find funding for years.

They were struggling? They just got 10m it's smooth sailing after the lawsuit.

And repeated trips to Asia for multiple treatments is fine lol. A 1600 fue was 14k for me. Doubt histogen with flights would be more expensive because repeated injections would most likely be one total cost, not cumulative.

Maybe it might not immediately be possible for most (myself included) but it could get cheaper if it catches on and suddenly everyone wants it. Lots of new stuff starts like that, super expensive when it's a new thing and then cost comes down. Especially if a rival product comes along. And if it does become available in Asia, other continents might only be a year or two behind. Even just confirmation that something can provide proper regrowth of a full head of hair can be done would be a massive thing.

Based on the presentation the cost per-treatment (105 injections) will be approximately $1,000 (slide 48). As a reference, Phase I/IIa the patients received 8 injections and repeat dosage after 6 weeks, however, only over a small area.

Assuming I am interpreting the slide correctly, they have production capability to support 1,872,000 treatments. If repeat treatments are required, there may not be enough for demand. That would explain why one of the goals of the Series D funding is to expand production capability.

The main cost will be traveling to Japan, but the estimated release in the United States is 2020. If cost is an issue, then wait two more years. Also with limited production capabilities, you may not have a choice.

All depends on successful completion of Series D funding, otherwise this will take even longer for release.

What's annoying is that repetitive nature. That should not be allowed because then it all becomes about you forcing your opinion on everybody else.

If I was W / moderator I'd be deleting everything from you that isn't new information.

And yeah while I have a scar I'm fairly okay personally and not as fragile as you think.

I've met Histigen staff, talked to them, was involved in one of the earlier trials. So I'm not nieve.

All that said... somebody needs to launch something soon. You'd hope :P

When I say something to you and then repeat it in another post that typically means that I'm responding to someone else after I responded to you. Of course I hope that something come along that works. I don't care what product it is so long as it works.

Just maintaining my current hairline without boner-killing meds would be a great. I'll fly to Japan right now.

This thread has delineated into bickering and I can't follow.

Where are people getting this info that Japan will be ready to do injections soon? When will Japan be ready and who do I contact?

Let's not forget that some of us on this site do actually live in Asia, so this could be a great opportunity for us.

Yearly trips to Japan, not a problem - there aren't many cheaper flights I could go on

That's right. Nameless pollutes threads saying the same thing over and over making it difficult to find new information.

Hence if W spent more time deleting repetitive noise than railing about peeps here trying to increase our knowledge this website would be more awesome.

Him saying some people wouldn't be able to afford it is true, but means nothing to everyone who can so don't get too bothered by him lol
