    bump!

I spoke too soon. Not sure I can contribute $200 but will contribute at least $100.

    a) We need to know what this will cost

    b) we need to know who will contribute and how much.

Desmond did a great job last year, but when I watched some video, in particular Cotsarelis presentation on MPB, I got a lot more info/foreshadowing by Cotsarelis out of it than what was summarised on the forum. This is why video/audio is important, so each member gets a look.

Hellouser can do videos and he can also do interviews and try to get information about the SM04554 patent. And for the record, if Hellouser comes back with the SM04554 patent then you will real quickly change your tune and say that information may be more important than videos.

Hellouser, just ignore the unintelligent haters. If you come back from the Congress with useful information these same haters will be eating out of your hand. Don't listen to what dumb people say.

I will chip in $200 towards your trip. Others will chip in too.

Will you please start focusing on getting things organized because you should go in as a press-person the same as Desmond did? You should start getting this organized. You should be getting the correct passes and you should be contacting the companies and researchers involved with the most promising treatments, especially the company behind SM04554 and Shiseido. When you contact the company involved with SM04554 you would want to interview the lead contract researcher (Wilma Bergfeld) AND a permanent company official as well. These interviews can be set-up in advance. Wilma Bergfeld will be there for certain and I'm sure the company will have a company spokesperson there as well.

could he go to the congress this year too?

or maybe they could go togheter, it would not be a problem for the whole suffers community (not only this forum) to rise 10,000 instead of 5,000 (just putting random numbers)

Desmond might not be willing to pursue an agenda of trying to isolate the exact patent for SM04554. He seems kind of straight-laced. We need someone who's smart and resourceful like Desmond but who wants out of hair loss bad enough that he would be willing to go there with the agenda of securing some specific information. Hellouser's our man. If we all get on the same page I will chip in $200.

Hellouser needs to get organized as a press-person the same way as Desmond did.

Someone claims he's posted the patent to SM04554. I'm not sure that he's correct. It would be nice if Hellouser could come back with knowledge about the SM04554 patent. BTW even if the person has posted the correct patent it appears that there are multiple compounds in the patent so we need to isolate which of the compounds is SM04554. If Hellouser went to the Congress as a press-person he might be able to secure this information.

I honestly hope you can make it to the congress and believe you will add as much value to the forum as Desmond did last year.
If you decide to travel to Miami, or any other members of btt can make it I'll offer to pay the firsts round of drinks (hopefully to celebrate good news and a future full of hair)

We need someone who will ask the right questions. We want someone in there with a press-pass so he can interview the staff of the drug companies. In particular, we want someone to interview the staff involved with SM04554 because there are multiple (3) different compounds in their Wnt patent and we need to figure out which compound is SM04554. If we can get the recipe for SM04554 we can get it shortly after the Congress. The alternative is to wait about 3 years.

Telling researchers about how injustice is baldness or how much you hate women for getting more attention than men won't help

Maybe you and Hellouser could go together. Hellouser's shrewd and he's imaginative plus he has a lot of knowledge about hair loss and the research that you two would be looking into. He's inventive enough to come up with a way to get the company behind SM04554 to state which patent is the SM04554 patent. We NEED that information.
