Then you're alone - no one is going to be content with something that doesn't grow hair. In fact, growing hair is the number one priority, not secession of hair loss. As long as the procedure is repeatable, then I'm fine if it doesn't halt hair loss. I'd just "top off" from time to time to maintain my hair.

Hair growth is critical - without it, there's no point in bringing a new treatment to market.

I don't think this is true. I remember seeing a YT video of a talkshow from shiseido. IIRC they said that if the follicle is dead, replicell won't help. Atleast till now. Maybe they will find a way to activate hair growth to a completely bald NW 999 person.

I wish i could say the same. But i´m afraid that in three years i will be a NW5. I am at the NW3+ scale at the moment. So if Replicel only stops the baldness process, it won´t help me. If it was available today, i could use it to halt my hair loss and then a HT could fix the frontal bald area

Hopefully. I just hope it's cheaper than a HT. do you think it could do anything with your hairline/temples for people in NW2-3 stages ?

I think this is the key. If the injections add on top of each other then this will almost certainly be a cure (given enough money). Otherwise, it will probably just be a treatment slightly better than minox/finasteride (and without side effects/ hassle of applying every day).

Yes I think so unless you are slick bald. The way they describe it is it will prevent further balding and rejuvenate thin hair. In the video they showed a close up of a thinning scalp and talked about how it could save the tiny little hairs. As I understand it, you can reverse balding as long as fibrosis hasn't destroyed the follicle, which I heard takes at least five years.

    Yes it will, start saving.

I think it will work but won't be actually cosmetic until maybe 2025-2030? Whether or not it is cosmetic or not, I'm sure people will still line up for injections.

But won't it be released only in Japan first? It has to go through clinical trials afterall

For me it seems very possible for Replicel to halt our hair, because, theoretically, the structure of injected hair follicles is changed as DHT resistant cells are used. If Replicel will induce only 10% regrowth and nothing in the terms of maintaning, it would be worthless - the main reason for which everybody is waiting for Replicel is to prevent hair loss without taking risky antiandrogens. And I am sure that Replicel company is aware of that state of affairs.

I think it will work to regrow new hairs and wake up the dormant follicles. Not sure if it will halt MPB.

Also I think that if you want more results, you need more injections.

I think it will work but to what extent? Is it going to maintain our hair and give 10% regrowth? 20%? Maybe none. Its just to early to tell cause they have given us no results to see yet.
But if it can fully halt mpb its a total win in my view
