Any info on how to purchase follicept?
I remember a few months back I was able to purchase it via some generic looking web site that specialized on stem cells and what not. They sold pretty sophisticated stuff. I can't seem to find it anymore and the follicept site doesnt provide any info on how to purchase, just how to invest.
    Thanks.

      You cannot buy it.
      Follicept is dead.
      Project failed.

They ran into FDA issues and also shut down the forum because posters were getting offensive with lack of posts/ updates

Thank you all for your interest and support for Follicept! We are still actively working on getting a release out as soon as possible, ideally by the end of 2016 or early 2017. As for the numerous questions we have received regarding the potential of also getting distribution in Asia, Europe, The Middle East, etc., We still anticipate getting distribution in this area not long after launch in North America. We appreciate all of your support and patience during this time. If you have any further questions feel free to contact us and we will try to answer your questions to the best of our abilities. Thank you and Happy New Years from us here at Prometheon!

so it's not the end of THIS year but the end of next year. all in all, with all delays and so on it will be somewhen in 2017 if at all. there is still no clear evidence of regrowth. if it's not expensive, it will be worth a try, to see how everyone individually will respond, but for the majority it will probably do nothing.

Unless the delay is really because they are doing a more controlled and rigorous trial.

Actually, they basically say on their updated website that they're testing it more rigorously and still need to undergo certain FDA approval.

"Has it been tested in humans?

No, not yet. We have scientific evidence of Follicept topical gel as an effective and safe formulation for pattern baldness in studies of a hairless small animal model. These studies will be repeated on several other such models of AGA. We are working towards approval by the FDA and other regulatory drug approval bodies worldwide to conduct highly rigorous studies of safety and effectiveness when applied to the vertex, frontal, and temporal regions of the scalp in men and women. Since IGF-1 has been previously approved by the FDA for daily subcutaneous injection for treating children with short stature, we anticipate a short development time at a fraction of the cost to develop a completely new drug. This path to product launch means that we will likely be able to develop an approved non-prescription product that is affordable. Our goal is to make Follicept widely available for the estimated 70% of men and 40% of women with AGA."

guys seriously, if this thing actually worked, i mean literally.. not full head of hair but few sound/solid hair follices showing clear sign of regrowth.. they will be all over the news I think the market has reached to a maturity level now. no one speaks they cure baldness because they just simply cant... better say nothing than talking big.. honestly I have no hopes of this product... probably they shouldnt be even launched... giving false hope to people is actually the worst...

Follicept had a decent product, IN THEORY... they need to be smart and collaborate with actual hair loss researchers. A transdermal delivery system is obviously the solid concept, but they were using it to deliver only one thing in the fight against AGA... they obviously don't have a thorough understanding of most of the mechanisms and pathways involved here, as with most people.

It showed no improvement in any of the people testing it. Why are they still trying this? Its kinda sad
