I also received the same email and it's quite disappointing to see how companies continue to underestimate the intelligence of the balding community.

I gave this guys the benefit of the doubt since they sounded honest but sending this email is very unethical and eliminates any trust and respect I had for them

Wait until supporters start pouring on the thread, claiming we need to "wait and see". Bald people are extremely desperate

As much as it is extremely unethical to run a "trial" of this kind. Why do people need to pay for an experimental treatment that has not shown any signs of working? The ethical thing is to pay people to try your stuff and compensate them in case something bad happens. What kind of information are they planing to gather with this? They couldn't even run a proper trial the first time and they had first hand contact with the subjects.

I'm even questioning if their insulin project is even real. People should send their gel for analysis, god knows if it has any trace of igf-1

It's definitely financial reasons. There is no other reason.

There just isn't enough evidence for an investor to pay for a trial. My guess is this friends and family trial was suppose to give them something to bring to an investor, which would pay for a more extended trial. That didn't happen, so.

I think the same thing ! I don't trust Follicept anymore, with this email and the poor trial they have made.

Agree, they've lost my support. It's absurd to ask for $125/mo without showing any proof of efficacy! They say to you'd have to drop minox too...HELL NO!

Oh well, still have my good ole minox...and fin.

It cost a lot of $$$ to conduct a formal clinical trial, it is definitely into the hundreds of thousands.

After that they said, they will sell anything until they prove it works, and everyone can afford it like minox... LOOOOOL

Good thing I'm not poor. I'll drop minoxidil and drop $1k for this scam. I'll keep my results to myself best of luck guys!

They weren't going to run a true clinical trial...it was going to be comparable (but longer) to the convenience trial, but involve different dosages and durations. Doesn't really matter at this point.

                        just lol at
we are seeing convincing results that are hard to capture in pictures
Only a gullible idiot would buy their product after inspecting their results.

Hey, Devon here. A lot of people have been asking questions regarding the clinical trial. The reasons why we can't do a clinical trial have nothing to with money, resources, manpower or know-how. That's as much as I can say right now. So we can either stop this project completely or extend it to you. Also when you pre-order your batch, type in the code HSUTANG4LYFE and we'll give you a 20 % discount on the selected Follicept ™ hats and t-shirts.

Yea it's kind of hard to believe that they think this is okay. If you're going to scam somebody at least don't have a website full of photos showing that your product clearly doesn't work, lol. It's scandalous that they're trying to make money from this. What a joke.
