I think 6 years for phase 3 plus launch is highly unusual. I've been following SM closely, and they've been really efficient and diligent about their process. They need only 90 days for each participant to take the drug, so it's really hard to imagine that if the drug works well why it would take 6 more years.

Cosmo on the other hand has had serious delays, they started the acne program first (dumb), they need you to apply a topical preparation 2X a day, and the comparator was minox. CB was probably always a dud.

No, CB is in POC phase II, they still have to do dose ranging and that doesn't start until 2017. SM is already finishing their dose ranging study this fall, so they are like 3 years ahead. If they have promising results, they will be starting phase III when CB would be starting phase II DR.

Not good news for sure but I still want to see results after phase 2, since we are already buying RU on the black market I wouldn't mind to do the same for CB
