    Stem cell transplant against baldness

    STEM CELL TRANSPLANT against baldness
    January 12, 2015

Instead of transplanting hair transplant can we stem cells that are grown?

Hair transplant of stem cells from calvicieImaginaos not lose hair in the donor area since "just", which we graft are the stem cells, they will grow in the area affected by baldness or alopecia part. Last year they met us at the CFS clinic in Barcelona to talk about the different techniques of hair transplants and the various developments in the sector and our studies on stem cell transplantation. The interview caused a real tsunami in the field of hair transplant.
Due to the high demand for information, promised to write an article on the capillary stem cell transplant and I promised!

In Barcelona CFS clinic we are always looking and researching new solutions to try to advance the world of hair transplantation which is our passion. Many times, when you are investigating, there are things that happen casually and unexpectedly. That's what happened last year.

We found that there is the possibility to extract part of the stem of follicles from the donor area for transplanting cells into the recipient area, getting that cell to produce a new hair in the area where it is placed and, this way, keep track density hair in the donor area. EYE! NOT ABOUT HAIR CLONING. There are laboratories are still investigating this issue but have not yet been achieved positive results in order to apply.

In May 2014 we did a test to verify that what we thought about stem cells was true and did a test with a voluntary patient. In December, when he came to make the penultimate control, we could observe that the donor area, had not lost any hair in the recipient area (where we put the stem cells) had grown new hair (approximately between 60 and 70% of what had gone). Outcome quite promising because, 70% represents a significant percentage (but not enough). We decided to go ahead with other tests (about 20 different patients) to confirm that the process actually works and above all, to try to get better. The goal is to reach 90% minimum to offer this new technique to everyone. It would be wrong to use if you do not get more than 70% growth.

What you have to understand is that this is all new, and we are only at the beginning of stem cell research and as I said several times in different articles, STILL CAN NOT PULL ROCKETS. It is not easy but we are in it. Do not be animéis too! It is not our intention (as I have been able to read in our blog ... We are not doing publicity for the clinic or creating false hope!). We are a clinic where we work with passion, and we want to progress in order to offer the best hair replacement techniques. In the United States, not knowing who we are, and talk about fraude¡ (OK, it's not a secret that Americans always want to be the first and best in everything. Therefore, a small Spanish hair clinic is more advanced than an American, believe them much envy;-) Things are moving not criticizing but working ...

Joking aside, what I want is to know that is not as easy as it sounds, and can not draw to conclusions. We have to be positive, but very cautious. From what can be sure is that we do our best and we put all our goodwill for the stem cell transplant becomes a reality applicable. I'll be answering all the questions (if I possibly can) and I will give you maximum information about the tests we are doing. Do not be impatient, nor will not desilusionéis if we fail eventually possibly learn all that we can use later.

In science and in medicine is much research but things do not always go as you want. At no time have I said that we had gotten the technique of stem cells work. We are investigating and it would be great to be a reality. Currently, he is promising but surely we will find problems. And so we can not avoid. What we have to do is look for solutions and further advanced.

If you liked the article about stem cell transplantation for baldness please be very interesting for everyone to leave me a comment on this article you just read, personally I will be answering your questions and comments.

I will give them the benefit of the doubt (in terms of them being frauds) until they prove their claims with published article which is then peer reviewed and detailed photographic evidence before they start to offer this treatment to general public.

I mean, what has been said here sounds good, but it might as well be a fairy tale until proven otherwise. I am glad they have started some trials already.

I'll wait for evidence to sustain their claims.

The most disturbing thing is how this man explains the procedure referring to extracting the "stem cell". It is not a single stem cell in the follicle but a number of them!

I am really impressed to read that they have already a queue of people stretching for 9 months to get an undocumented and unproven procedure. This makes me sad

Someone needs to figure out and understand how all the different stem cells work. Until all of that signalling and timing is all figured out or how the cells influence others nearby than they pretty worthless IMO. You cant fix something without understanding how it all works most of the time unless you get a lucky guess
