    Trial for Male hairloss / baldness

    Hi guys,

    I would like to share with us a link that i found... If anybody have heard about it, or any news ? this study is finished on october 2014. What is it ?

      Their Facebook page says it was postponed. I wonder what drug it is?

      "Thank you for your fantastic response to this trial. Unfortunately, our client has informed us of a delay. However, the good news is that the study will likely be run in December 2014 or January/February 2015. In addition, there is a possibility of our involvement in a larger international study with this same drug. We would be interested to hear from you if you would like a reminder once the new dates are confirmed. We apologise for the delay with this trial."

          Yes, it would be great if we can know exactly what is this drug

              Yeah its a study to participate in but they dont tell you anything about what it is or does. I like the cheesy picture of the actresses/actors in white lab coats. How scientific!

                  There is record of a clinial trial being carried out on the Australia New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry. It is for a topical solution containing a small molecule currently named SM04554. The trial states that this topical may activate the wnt pathway. Trial was only short and started Sept 2013. I wonder what the outcomes

                      Q-Pharm was involved with the Phase I trials for SM04554. They are currently doing Phase 2 trials in the US though.

                              I like that part. Maybe they are after early approval in Europe or Asia. A larger international study?? The one being conducted in USA has 300 participants! thats a lot of money to spend. They obviously have a lot of faith on SM

                              Ah, lets hope sm04554 is the drug they're talking about
