Or researcher's continued profiteering from prolonged salaries with this slow as hell paced research just to keep themselves employed?

Call me selfish for all I care, but I simply want acceptance from society, nothing more.

Yeah, they want a profitable solution, and I'm more than willing to give them a boatload of my money.. RIGHT NOW. I've asked this a number of times, and yet nobody has been able to answer this:

Damn near all researchers always throw around the 'in 2-5 years' bullshit remark. Alright then, WHAT are they doing in that time? Can ANYONE answer that? Lauster got skin and follicles 3+ years ago... has he been on vacation since? WHAT is the reason for dragging things out for years longer, is it some kind of rule of thumb or law that any discovery MUST wait x number of years?
You want acceptance from society? You think dwarfs don't want acceptance from society? People who have disfigured faces. I don't see you giving a damn about them. Where is your complaints to get a cure for dwarfs. It's all about you. Get out of here.

All the researchers working too slow for you? Why don't YOU find the cure then its so easy right? Or do you think its more productive filling half of this forum with your complaints. You always give some vague complaints and it doesn't look like you have actually put in any serious research by your complaints.

Biotechs this researcher that, while Hellouser sits behind the computer.

It's not my purpose to insult nobody. Hellouser has made his point over thousands of posts.
The next two years we 'll have something, relax my friend.

This is not a guarantee. The only two possible treatments to come out in the next two years may be either Histogen or Follica. I hope they do, but nothing else is as close to a release as they are.

I do not understand how somebody can count on Cotsarelis he has so many years finding the cure and then nothing, he said 2012 that in two years there will be a cure, this is not a right scientific approach, Follica will not bring anything.
My hopes are on bimatoprost and cb at least for mentainance in my case.
Cb for acne will be also a solution although we'll know the vehicle.
As for the solution Jahoda's theory is the answer and i'm curious about what will come out of the congress and the other teams working on that theory.
It's the first time over those years that so many people working on that field and finally we begin to understand the mechanism of this situation.

He never said that. If he did, there'd be a LOT more to look forward to this year. And as you know, there isn't much buzz.

Watch this video with him on the topic of Follica:

Go to the 2:12 mark in the video, and you'll hear him say:

'If everything goes perfectly,it's possible that within a few we'll have something thats available as a new treatment'

That was in 2010 (video posted on January 2nd, 2011, but it aired before that).

His PGD2 findings came out as news in 2012, read about his interview on that topic here:

Dr. Van Voorhees: Does this research open up possible avenues for treatment approaches that have not yet been considered? Are there currently drugs under development which might be utilized?

Dr. Cotsarelis: This work suggested that D2 was working through the GPR44 receptor to inhibit hair growth. It turns out that there are compounds under development by a number of companies to inhibit this receptor. They are being developed for asthma and allergic rhinitis. PGD2 causes bronchoconstriction — when you inhibit its receptor you relax smooth muscle so it helps with lung disorders. No one is developing a topical formulation, but we think if you did, it would be a potential treatment for alopecia.
Nothing mentioned on dates, but there was mention here:

Despite the excitement surrounding these new developments, it is worth noting that Dr Cotsarelis, who heads up the University research team, is still only in early negotiations with pharmaceutical manufacturers. There is also a heavy emphasis on the word “could” when discussing the two year timescale to launch, suggesting it could be considerably longer before this new hair loss treatment is made widely available
            Source:
Reports have started circulating regarding a potential new hair loss “cure”, which could be available in as little as two years This new treatment is built upon existing research regarding male pattern baldness, and an enzyme called PGD2

As you should know, Cotsarelis is an attentionwhore and has always paraded around the '2-5 years' projection. We all know how that's turned out. Take his words with a very fine grain of salt.

this is not a right scientific approach, Follica will not bring anything.
So in other words you don't believe the confirmation and word from them that they're able to generate NEW hair follicles?

My hopes are on bimatoprost and cb at least for mentainance in my case.
Cb for acne will be also a solution although we'll know the vehicle.
You'll be waiting at least another 3 years for that. Cosmo, like so many other pharmaceuticals are run by morons and decided to delay CB until around 2017/18. Good luck until then.

As for the solution Jahoda's theory is the answer and i'm curious about what will come out of the congress and the other teams working on that theory.
It's the first time over those years that so many people working on that field and finally we begin to understand the mechanism of this situation.
Jahoda's work is not a theory, it works but with existing DP cells. The team in China did what Jahoda couldn't do; create DP cells that held their properties. The two methods combined are OUR theory that the end of baldness should be possible by now if Jahoda incorporates China's findings. Our solution? Send Desmond to South Korea and get him to talk to Jahoda, get some answers and what can be done and expected.

Follica has never shown anything, just words. Pgd2 was found increased in the skin but they said they didn't know why. May be this is a result of hairloss and not the cause. Anyway i'm not interested on them.
Compared to Histogen where Histogen proceed at least to something may be not impressive but at least something.
Cb for acne will be a solution and the known vehicle if i'm not wrong it will be out at 2016.

You're more likely to have a hair loss cure than Kobe ever surpassing MJ.

Is this lotion something that help prevent or stop MPB when used alone? I just want to stop hair loss not get my top layer of scalp removed.

And a lotion, unnamed as yet, that helps stop an enzyme that contributes to hair loss.

I don't know if there will be a cure anytime soon. But I do know that the day after a cure is found, the horseshoe style NW7 will become fashion's next big thing. Guaranteed.

It got shot down as a scam here and on other forums but when the time comes I think this is something we should take a second look at. Hopefully they will release some supporting evidence on its method of working and we can do some analysis together.
Whats the go with the release date for pilox? I was looking it up the other night but couldn't find anything reasonably official.
