    Laboratory-grown vaginas implanted in patients.

"We invited to participate four consecutive patients who presented over a 3-year period with congenital vaginal aplasia due to MRKHS. Patients were aged 13—18 years. We obtained a vulvar biopsy of autologous tissue from every patient. We cultured, expanded, and seeded epithelial and muscle cells onto biodegradable scaffolds. The organs were constructed and allowed to mature in an incubator in a facility approved for human-tissue manufacturing. We used a perineal approach to surgically implant these organs.

Vaginal organs, engineered from the patient's own cells and implanted, showed normal structural and functional variables with a follow-up of up to 8 years. These technologies could be useful in patients requiring vaginal reconstruction.
    "

A step in the right direction, I guess. Creating and then implanting organs is becoming more commonplace.

Well we don't know that. Maybe the vaginas grew hair after a while.

Maybe if we can buy an artificially grown vagina, we won't need hair anymore.

Can't find any photos attached - I mean, for the scientific proof.

Oh great... more advancements in complicated matters like creating a vagina but a simple hair follicle has been beaten to death without success for the last two decades.

What a monumental FAILURE on the part of hair loss 'researchers'

Also, to note, here's an awesome comment I saw on another website about the laboratory grown vagina:

My god... some people are incredibly stupid. It's like 'yeah, we've got so many biotechs and researchers working on a hair loss cure.... we had a cure 20 years ago but everyones still balding!'

Are these scumbags purposely trying to humiliate baldness as a non-problem? FFS.

We all know how this is going to perversified to be used for something other than the intended purposes.

Maybe some people (no one here) can get this implanted on their heads and live up to their nicknames by put their heads to some use.

In all seriousness though this is somewhat deflating.

I'm going to interpret this comment post on the other website as sarcasm.
