Crowdfunding for Dr. Xu

#nowigselfie #shavedheadselfie #nocomboverselfieAnd guess how they did it? By having women post selfie photos WITHOUT makeup. Men weren't even involved! Just goes to show that social campaigns can and DO work, despite all the negative bullshit people moan about crowdfunding not being a realistic approach. All it takes is an honest effort from a group of us in an organized manner. The results WILL show if we do things RIGHT.
You're part of the forum, so walk.Comment

How about asking celebrities (who are affected by alopecia)? They could easily contribute a few millions alone.
I'm thinking of Wayne Rooney, Wesley Sneijder (both having transplantations done), Jude Law, both guys from two and a half man, etc.
They must be provided with a possiblity to do this anonymously, as this would be bad PR for them. This might be difficult.
Moreover, I think the funding should be used for the most promissing attempt.Comment

create a global association of baldness
It would be good to have a global association of baldness.
In which I had to pay 200 € annual fee and this will be used to pay a consultant in order to keep the money and administer Expero that you would see how treatments could leave in 2 years and move toward healing.

I love these posts where posters talk about asking celebrities. What a laugh! How about asking celebrities (who are affected by alopecia)? They could easily contribute a few millions alone.

Anyone who chips in for this project is foolish. Somehow, someway you are going to get ripped off. There will be skimming off the top and you will accomplish nothing. You are not going to speed up the process of getting follicles created. The Atac team in Berlin is already closer to creating folliclesw than anyone else, and they don't need money. The money you give away to a competitor of Atac will go to a team that is further back than Atac, and even after you donate money Atac wills still beat the team you fund so why bother funding anyone to create follicles? It's not going to speed up the process. The leader is Atack and she does not need your money. Giving money to a competitor of Atac will not help that competitor pass ahead of Atac.Comment

Hi All,
Long time lurker on these forums and I just wanted to weigh in on the crowdfunding angle. I recently hired a development team to make a crowdfunding hub for a different subset of medical research, and things have gone well so far for a reasonable price. I don't just want to spam post with their information here, but if someone from the community here wants their contact info to develop a hair loss research related crowdfunding hub, please let me know.Comment

Dude I don't think anyone on here wants to listen to you anymore. You go from obsession to obsession declaring that one person or the other is the best, and you have evidently sub-standard intelligence. Crowdfunding platforms are set up so that skimming off the top does not happen, they are not hard to organize or hard to make effective, hence kickstarter being a huge success as a company. Encouraging competition is always good, as different teams will discover different angles. Even a couple hundred grand can make a huge difference, I recently read that a cancer company got 2 million, and it was considered an enormous amount of funding. You are not a researcher and you don't know jack, stop spamming these forums with your nonsense. Pretty much the only positive thing that can come out of these forums is a crowdfunding campaign and increased information on peoples' results from different treatments. I haven't heard from Xu in a little bit, hopefully it's not because he saw his name in these forums and read the completely inane/maladaptive/entitled comments on this thing.Anyone who chips in for this project is foolish. yes, definitely pass it along, I can talk about it with Dr. Xu. I honestly don't really care if people in this forum think it will work or not, there are millions of balding guys out there who are reachable via other means.Hi All,

Okay, their contact email is info [at] skyrushmarketing [dot] com (breaking it up to prevent bots and whatnot). Since they just worked on my site; I'm guessing all things crowdfunding should be fresh on their minds.
I for one would definitely donate some money to a project that looked credible and the community was behind.Comment

Reprogram Skin Fibroblasts Into Melanocytes
hello guys,
Here is a new article published on December 19th. It deals with Reprogramming Skin Fibroblasts Into Melanocytes. And Dr. Xu explained this method is highly adequate for other cell-based treatments like for baldness.

if we could reprogram normal dermal fibroblasts into dermal papilla cells, we would have a pretty much good thing to look out for. think about it we have abundant skin with dermal layer which contains dermal fibroblasts, if they could be reprogrammed or diffrentiated into dP cells, then we could reach an easy clinical approch, and a replica cell alike approach to reach at-least maintenance.Comment
