Type VII collagen is the main component of anchoring fibrils, structures that are integral to basement membrane homeostasis in skin. Mutations in the gene encoding type VII collagen COL7A1 cause recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (RDEB) an inherited skin blistering condition complicated by f …

Thats a team in Taiwan AFAIK, separate from Dr. Jahoda's team.

If it does happen, I'll be happy, but since I started reading forums, I was expecting a different approach to a "cure". This is basically a hair transplant with more work (harvesting the follicles), it would cost a fortune

Labor is the expensive part. This would take half the labor, as there is no extraction. a HT is a whole day process because extraction takes half a day between prepping and extracting.

yeah it seems pretty quick to have cracked it in one year

Im not real worried about MPB because I really think for the first time in history in the next 5 - 10 it will be cured by growing hair in a lab. I just envision they take some and then robots and all that stuff multiply out in mass and its just a normal HT to get as much back as you can afford.
That being said I prefer to keep my hair in the first place verses that expensive and invasive surgery so my situation is more towards CB 03 01, but I want a cure just for everyone else

                  Yeah man

CB-03-01 is the solace while we are waiting for the Asian heroes to bring our hair back

I'll pull down my hairline till my f*cking eyebrows

                  Keep praying!

Do we have any Korean members that can go to the Hair congress this year? From memory I think it was in Jeju Island!

Hmm this doesn't sound like any breakthrough yet. They haven't tried this in vivo yet, so there's no guarantee it will even work on humans. And he said "hopefully" so there's also no guarantee they will even try it on humans (in the near future).

Wow Jahoda actually answered to your email ? Nice one mate ! Unfortunately obviously they're not giving away much hints at how far they are, apart that they havent done new 'in vivo' experiments yet... But at this point I think the most important is the culture experiments and to see if they can retain gene expression (way) beyond that 22% they previously achieved. Really looking forward to their presentation in a few months !!

It was actually Gardner who I got a response from bro. Haven't asked about any specifics yet lol.

When I said i hoped his team is going to crack the last piece of the DP puzzle his response was 'fingers crossed here aswell'...

and unfortunately there seems to be no communication/collaboration between team Jahoda and team Lin
