Researchers create epithelial cells from iPSC

Some nice news today ! First time ever, researchers (including Cotsarelis) created epithelial from induced pluripotent stem cells !

Of course, epithelial cells weren't really the problem, they could already be expanded without problems, but it's still a nice achievement. If they can do the same for DP cells, then hairloss is a thing of the history, cause several researchers have already proven that epithelial + DP = new hair.

Researchers have come up with a method to convert adult cells into epithelial stem cells, the first time anyone has achieved this in either humans or mice. The epithelial stem cells, when implanted into immunocompromised mice, regenerated the different cell types of human skin and hair follicles, and even produced structurally recognizable hair shaft, raising the possibility that they may eventually enable hair regeneration in people.
