well if u guys just want to go for small procedures, here is the full conversation of what his office told me::
"What is likely the bigger issue in each patient's case is that it will still be a few more months until we can even begin to use it for very small sessions (50-100 grafts). He anticipates FDA clearance for the device at some point early next year. At that point, he will perform small sessions (50-100 grafts at most) to analyze the growth of transplanted hair and the possible regeneration in the donor area. You will likely require a much larger number of grafts for effective treatment. Full-sized piloscopic sessions (over 1000 grafts) are most likely going to be possible in about 18 months (the year 2015).

Yeah, but remember:
Thereafter you will have
- a full head of hair with just one session;
- full regrowth (of sebaceous cysts) in the donor area;
- procedure almost for free;
So come on, I think it's worth to wait 18 month for all these good things.Leave a comment:

Yeah, maybe someone cares, but the research is not properly funded.
However, Aderans got pumped $100 million into them and they just failed and closed their business! How the f*ck can you fail with that amount of cash? It's just stupid hair.
Apart from the funds, there's lack of serious dedicated skilled scientists to work on the subjectLeave a comment:

I don't think no one cares, who ever does it will be ****in rich, so I'm sure lots of people careLeave a comment:

Hey! This is actually a great idea!
Someone should try to convince them
At the current pace we aren't going to witness cure for baldness in our lifetimes
Seriously, cure for baldness can't be THAT complicated! More advanced medical techniques like cloning organs etc. are already being used, and they can't cure ****ing hairloss.
The main problem I think is that no one really (and certainly not any big pharma/medical companies) gives a **** or wants to finance the researchLeave a comment:

I wish google would take up MPB. I bet they'd get to the bottom of it real quickLeave a comment:

Des- Do you have any faith in Pilofocus regenration--and that we could potentially have a de facto cure in the next 2 years, at least one that could repair us up a bit until the Tsjui labs or whomever else come into play?Leave a comment:

Desmond you are awesome. You are such a extremely valuable member of this community, seriously! This post made my week. If I ever met you I'd buy you a beerHey guys,
Maybe some of you have missed the recent news; Japanese parliament approved the change in legislation for stem cell therapies. As of 2015, new stem cell therapies will become approved upon completion of phase 2b. Phase 3 can be conducted after the therapy is available to public!
Our community should keep a very close eye on Tsuji lab in the coming years. At this point, if the arricles I'm reading is correct they're about to combine Jahoda's research one step further using specific growth factors etc. If this approach works, unlimited DHT resistant hair follicles will be in our grasp by 2020!
We have finally been dealt a decent hand after 20 years ofstagnant procrastination
Ps. Histogen might also be looking at marketing their product in japan by 2016 through the new policy changes.
Hang in there guys...no need to be so negative. We're on the verge of some major breakthroughs
