Supposedly they have a better way of preventing hair loss than propecia and rogaine. I'm not too excited but hey, might as well add it to the list of treatments that are going to come in the near future.
DS Healthcare's Topical Treatment

I don't have prior experience with their products but that seems to be the consensus lol. This line from the article made me think it was a topical, "The patent application addresses DS Healthcare's proprietary formulations that stimulate hair growth and reduce hair loss in men and women through treatments delivered topically." I did hear they also are releasing a natural over the counter pill this month in Mexico but I believe this is different as it's going to be prescription. The reason I thought it was even worth a mention was only because it's going to be prescription. Idk too many bs prescription products. Over the counter, now that's a whole other story.Comment

You never know, but in my mind if CB 03 01 ever sees the light of the day then no other topical treatment will really have any use. We just need one good topical AA that works for the most part safely. If it doesnt happen then its good to have backup options and I guess its possible they could work through different mechanismsComment

If CB 03 01 falls through or gets cancelled all my hopes are dashed. I have high hopes for that but 3 years is a whole lot of time too bad they go faster. Its almost the end of january so when to does cosmo present this stuf?Comment

I believe Cosmo gives a presentation every quarter , last presrntaion was in NovemberComment

DS produces a lot of how do I put it... unsubstantiated products if you will (trying to me delicate here) but I feel their Revita Shampoo and conditioner is a great addition to your hair care but don't believe for one second that you will experience regrowth from this alone.
I would be very skeptical of this latest product from DS but do encourage safe trials and experimentation.Comment

Doesn't sound too impressive, from their patent abstract:
"a composition for topical treatment of hair loss/alopecia including three natural, active ingredients, caffeine, saw palmetto berry extract, and epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG)"
Any treatment that's relying on caffeine and saw palmetto isn't exactly gonna be earth-shaking.
But you never know...Comment

An investment of 2.3 million and an investment of 3.1 million into DS Healthcare. That is good news.
Has anyone heard of the tablet they are gonna release in Mexico for the first quarter of 2014? It's supposed to help against thinning hair.
"We've developed our own proprietary tablet, which contains a unique composition of ingredients, to achieve a real breakthrough in neutraceutical research," stated DS Healthcare President and CEO Daniel Khesin.
"Similar oral supplements already enjoy significant revenue in overseas markets where we have strong distribution. But none of the products we tested provided any real benefit to consumers. We have set out to improve this category, and we are very pleased with the outcome. Retailers worldwide have expressed great interest in our new tablet based on existing demand for competitors' products."Comment
