Anyone willing to take the Bimatoprost plunge?

I'm considering giving bim a go. Minox isn't going to do much for me (have used it with little success). Only issue is that the cost of bim is very prohibitive, around £100 for a small bottle. However I thing I can make a bottle last 7/8 weeks as is only the front I'm really looking to target.Comment

Not worth it. I have baby blue eyes. I wouldn't risk it.Comment

Ok guys, i probably should have explained myself a bit better here, i was in a hurry! apologies
I have a biomedical sciences degree and this is where my logic comes from...
bimatoprost is a molecule with an extremely short plasma halflife (45 minutes!!), its even been injected into people at much higher concentrations than the ones people will be putting on their scalp, without any systemic sides (including eye colour change!!)
Another very important factor is the blood eye barrier, which means that systemic molecules e.g. bimatoprost are much less permeable to the eye, further the reducing the amount reaching the eye.
In my opinion there is 0% risk of eye colour change from systemic absorption, i wouldn't worry. I can understand why people do given that minox can cause systemic sides, but the two are very different molecules.

dark circles?
lipauly, i very much doubt that bim gave you dark circles
the dark circles from minox are to do with its effects on the vasculature and blood pressure locally....this then becomes systemic and effects the eyes
bimatoprost is a prostaglandin which doesn't share these effects, could it be that you're on other things which caused this?Comment
