Realistically, none of the possible treatments that have the potential to make dut and fin things of the past have the potential to be on the market soon. So yes, stick to fin or dut and minox.

i think we have to be realistic: Hair cloning is at least 15/20 years away from being available as a treatment. Histogen and Replicel maybe 3/4 years away but they'll probably only give you some peach fuzz. Dr Nigam hasn't shown any good evidence for hair doubling, so i think we can say thats "dead in the water" now. CB and bimatoprost will only benefit those with some hair still.
So yes, we are a way off from getting the sort of coverage we'd all like.
Nothing makes us more special than the previous generations of sufferers who had to come to terms with being bald, but our children or childrens children may benefit.Comment

Same thing with Dr. Wesley. Scarless + he might have serious regeneration as well. I wouldn't have known any of these things without this site. I'm actually pretty hopeful there'll be a partial cure in the next year or two (Wesley or Niagam): not a complete cure like hair multiplication but good enough to get going with life.Comment

Some more than others. For example, someone who comes on to a forum to post a thread about how negative their outlook is, trying to make everyone else feel bad because they don't want to be alone in their misery, is probably worse than someone who comes on with a problem solving, optimistic mentality, to support a community of people suffering with the same condition, and investigate, support and share research in to a cure for that condition in order to alleviate the suffering of himself and the community.
So shove it up your a$$.Comment

Plus, Sometimes people post opinions (or facts) that can be considered "negative" but can be true, and get attacked for that... and that's really bad.
We all have positive / negative opinions regarding those future treatments, and everyone has right to share it.Comment

Maybe he needs to be cheered up?

A lot of guys come to the cutting edge forum for a source of hope. That doesn't mean we should be dangerously optimistic about everything, but threads that are just PURE negativity, for no reason, with no information, annoy me.Comment
