Not really. Most women do not care. And the 10 percent who do, are vocal about it, teens, or just bs'ing and trying to test your confidence.
I care about my hair because all my photos look like shit with a large forehead, increasingly short hair plus rising hairline, dark undereye circles, fast beard growth + thin transparent beard area skin, chin fat etc... All I want is good photos. Do not care whatsoever what a women thinks about my hair. I know happily married men in their 60s who have no interest in other women, but would love to have their hair back.Comment

Dude you sound like you have some psychological issues to work out. At 31 years of age I have a shitload of bald/ing friends, and no one demonizes them or even gives a fraction of a shit. I dont know where you live, maybe you need to move somewhere more normal. This shit happens to almost all men at some point. In fact, some of my bald friends are among the most loved of all the people I know. People who mean spiritedly make fun of anyone are scum and not worth your time. Humanity sucks in general, and on the grand scheme of shitty stuff that can happen, baldness really isn't high on the list. My friends daughter just got diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, will be dead probably before she's 35. A colleague i know lost both her legs and hands to a bacterial infection at age 21 and still managed to have a successful career as an artist and have many friends and a full life. You bitching about people making fun of you makes you sound like a middle schooler. I suggest working on your philosophy, the baldness is inevitable. act like a victim and you will be treated like one. act like you don't give a shit and eventually you won't and neither will anybody else. I feel bad for people who go bald in high school, but seriously I have never heard anyone make fun of my fully bald friends ever i dont think. I used to get made fun of on the street WAY more when I had a ridiculous head of curly locks. When I shave it nobody ****s with me.Comment

How bad is your hair loss? What Norwood are you? It seems like a lot of the people who barely have any hair loss are the ones who tell others how hair loss doesn't really matter and isn't so bad. I am waiting to hear an NW6 come on here and tell people the same thing.Comment

Perhaps there are in Asia countries with small AGA rates, in which case bald white people would look like aliens.Comment

Indeed, as a NW7 keeping my remaining hair down to 2-4 mm all the time, I can say that there are definitely some practical advantages regarding general hygiene and grooming. This does not mean though that I don't want my hair back.Comment

yeah ,like you can always keep your nw1 to this length and have the advantages you mentionedComment

You see around here baldies of any degree of AGA working and living their lives as anyone else. How they do feel though about their baldness I cannot say. In my mind it is a kind of mild mutilation. You lose thousands of little organs protecting your head. This is the first and foremost role of hair! Aesthetics also matter, as a result of living in a civilized human society, but for me it comes second.Comment

I shaved my head 10 months ago guys. It really wasn't bad although I am more attractive with hair. But no one made any comments and it's not like I ever got laughed at by anyone. In the contrary although I did seem not attractive to some girls, other girls liked it and I could tell.
We should stay on topic though...Comment

As I wrote previously I am NW7 and although I will not tell you the same thing, I can say that in the place where I live, people indeed do not seem to care. We care more ourselves about our image, and personally I care also about practical difficulties coming with advanced baldness - protection from sun radiation, cold winds, rain, snow, scratches, things that even balding guys do not realize in the beginning. But the others do not seem to care so much. At least they don't show it.

Any change in temperature is felt greatly when you shave your head. Winter is the worst. You have to wear a hat to replace your natural hair. There is no evolutionary benefit to losing hair.Comment

I dunno, I just see plenty of people with very little if any hair loss at all preaching about moving on with your life, concentrating on your career, working out, and forgetting about your hair. Yet I know if these people were NW6's or something, that they would be singing a much different tune.Comment

How is it debatable? A bare scalp exposes our skin to the sun increasing our chances of skin cancer, woman look at us less (of course there are woman that are into good looking bald guys thank god) and from a psychology standpoint, it destroys our confidence and our image. How does going bald give us an advantage realistically? I would rather have the thickest head of hair and have to deal with styling it everyday than not have hair and say, "it's less work this way."Comment
