Here's the photo of the mice if you haven't seen it (he's our hero ):

Desmond unfortunatelly the have not injected at all, they have "implanted" 24 hair germs with a guide to avoid cistis formation, i don't think it would be ever possible having a simple injection even in the future, it will be always a chirurgical procedure

How about scientist inject my cells into a hairless genetically modified mouse and then harvest the hair and put it on my head. Seems like anything makes mouse hair grow. Geez.

May I ask you why is that?
Is not a minimal invasive procedure theoretically the best to aim for?

Expect a plethora of hoops to jump through with the FDA... scumbags will do everything it takes to pamper their pharmaceutical butt buddies.

You are wrong buddy...30-35 are the best years.

is this technique patented? if not then perhaps other researchers can move it forward, because I can't understand why it should take so long to go to human trials

They say that, unfortunately, the technique will take another ten years of trial and study before it could be used on a human scalp. The team also sees it used more for hair loss therapy after an accident or due to disease, not for treating baldness.
Hope it doesn't turn out like that...

Of course it probably WILL though. Society doesn't want us to be on the same playing field as the rest, they take GREAT PLEASURE in demonizing us.

TBH, most men tolerate or even ENJOY going bald. The anount if times I've been told 'just shave your head' or 'man up', or some variant of 'why are you bothered, that's less effort needed to get ready in the morning'... We're in a minority for having a brain that cares about having a presentable appearence.

Dude you sound like you have some psychological issues to work out. At 31 years of age I have a shitload of bald/ing friends, and no one demonizes them or even gives a fraction of a shit. I dont know where you live, maybe you need to move somewhere more normal. This shit happens to almost all men at some point. In fact, some of my bald friends are among the most loved of all the people I know. People who mean spiritedly make fun of anyone are scum and not worth your time. Humanity sucks in general, and on the grand scheme of shitty stuff that can happen, baldness really isn't high on the list. My friends daughter just got diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, will be dead probably before she's 35. A colleague i know lost both her legs and hands to a bacterial infection at age 21 and still managed to have a successful career as an artist and have many friends and a full life. You bitching about people making fun of you makes you sound like a middle schooler. I suggest working on your philosophy, the baldness is inevitable. act like a victim and you will be treated like one. act like you don't give a shit and eventually you won't and neither will anybody else. I feel bad for people who go bald in high school, but seriously I have never heard anyone make fun of my fully bald friends ever i dont think. I used to get made fun of on the street WAY more when I had a ridiculous head of curly locks. When I shave it nobody ****s with me.
