Who the hell is this guy and why would anyone take his word over Follica's?

Perhaps yes for some people, perhaps not for others.

Even if we don't care, sometimes others will make us do. Can you believe that in my 45, slick bald NW7, I was asked twice this summer from people that did not know me before if was the grandson of my ... father? And with my hat on, if I was the brother of my ... 15 years old daughter?

Some of us are in extremely good shape in middle age with very youthful looks, but we miss our hair. And you can bet that others too, that are in less-than-ideal shape, are still missing it for their own reasons.

Even after reading the interview I still think Follica are working on something and are doing clinical trials for it right now (or are inbetween say, IIa and IIb or something).

And that would be happening with, uh, what staff exactly? Are the clinical trials rolling along without any staff involved? Mr. Z from HS:

Follica has released all of it's scientific staff. The remaining people involved are either part of the advisory board (which is distinct from the company, and don't play a role in day to day operations of the company), part of the venture capital firm (again no role in day to day), or a CEO or VP. No one reamins to do any research. There is nobody to oversee clinical trials, and handle all the day to day stuff involved with that. So, how is it that anything would be happening? who would do the work? I don't think it looks good at all.

The only way I can see someone being able to find out something like that is by doing a lot of research on LinkedIn or somehow having some connectiins
