havent you seen boldys op? it looks top man.who gives a shit about these doc you talk about. Nigam is a geniusVeca
Its not the only reason why I doubt dr Nigam, please read Arashis list of reasons,
Im looking forward to dr Mwamba/dr Cole visit his facilities in Mumbai
Nigams comes across as overly sensitive and emotional when people criticise his methods/photos/etc....he thought its gonna be cakewalk?
extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and what did he provide so far?
we can hope dr mwamba doesn't cancel his trip to IndiaComment

I always wanted some high profile doc to test Nigams claims
dr mwamba/dr cole are perfect guys for the job...
if they endorse doubling technique then im sold..nigam will be instant celebrity
its good to be positive but im looking at things the way they are NOT the way I want 'em to be..
doubling technique can be brought to Europe as it doesn't use any banned compounds..
lets wait and see what dr mwamba has to sayComment

Let me get this straight....you have dumped thousands of dollars into dozens of MPB treatments, gained a full Norwood over time DESPITE steroid use, but now are risking your scalp to Nigam!?Comment

the transplanted grafts, seem still in anagen (week3)(I think at least 50 % of the grafts), I'm told most of them SHOULD shed within 2 weeks with regular hts, but this is deff not the case
So far guys, seriously,
for me personally I don't give a fu*ck about what media competitors say.
All ht docs fear losing their jobs, if someone in India trials cutting edge stuff..
Have you seen what happens with successful celebrities? all the lies and paparazzi stuff.
what counts is that he has a professional biotech team, a fda lab, hair transplant surgeons, they seem to value precare like full blood test + analysis pre procedure.
Now what counts for us = hair, that's only outcome and goal for him and for us to get or maintain full afro's ..
the only solution to vanish the understandable doubts is if you see it with your own eyes, or with HD videos/pics.
Drama posts, will not help you i any way getting your hair back.Comment

It is always a fine line between a maverick and a con man in medicine. Which one you think Dr Nigam is will depend on your views. People in either of these categories need to get used to criticism. It is funny how people want FDA approval type studies and documentation for all treatment's but do not want to wait. Dr Nigam is trying to fill the gap for those who do not want to wait.
I find the proof provided by Dr Nigam so far to be terrible for a Doctor. No one in research justifies a view based on a handful of cases. He mentions many cases but then struggles to provide the proof. He always has the latest and greatest method to cure baldness. By the time the results from the treatment should be reported for the patients he has moved onto a new and better treatment. If Minidoxil was tested on one person and failed would that have meant it was a failure and would the opposite be true. People respond to treatments differently and is why 1 or 2 cases is not a good indication of any treatments success. If Dr Nigam's documentation and records are anything like what has been posted on this forum he would have no hope of publishing in a peer review journal. The documentation provided is of the standard expected in a high school science class not a research project. This alone Doesn't make him a fraud.
Remember that many of these treatment have not undergone full clinical trials. Simple factors like what other treatments was the patient on prior to the treatment and the other treatment after is not published by Doctor Nigam. Remember the hemoglobin on the Histogen slide, what blood work ups prior to treatment and post treatment has Dr Nigam posted. What conditions did the patient develop, Histogen mentions conditions that passed over time. I am only using histogen as they recently showed study results and are undergoing a FDA approved trial. This gives an idea on what should be expected in a trial apart from a clear and accurate method to monitor and record the studies goal.
FDA approvals and processes exist to weed out the con's and in turn save peoples lives and dollars. Is Dr Nigams treatments a con ? only time will tell. How many treatments have shown promise and delivered nothing. Would you feel ripped off if you paid for one of those treatments. How would you feel if you spent money gained no hair but now have a serious medical condition. This is why they have clinical trials, the researches just like Dr Nigam believe their treatment will work. Unfortunately belief doesn't always lead to success in experiments.
I find it interesting that his lab is FDA approved http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/Cons.../ucm047470.htm, the link indicates that laboratories are never FDA approved.Comment

Interesting! In my 1st and 3rd HST I had similar results, keeping approx 30%-50% of the grafts, however on my 2nd I didn't shed at all, close to 100% remained in anagen. I can't explain it.Comment

Guys have some appreciation for what Dr. Nigam is doing!
Whether you like it or not, he is advancing our cause. If you have any clue about MPB you know that what he doing, regardless of the outcome, is very important. It must be done, and without him/Boldy we would be waiting years to find out if this is a potential cure/treatment.
If you think he is a fraud then don't read the threads, don't get treatment from him. Documentation could be way better, and it will be, just be patient and wait for some of the guys to went to properly document their case.Comment
