The board most likely just got tired of waiting for a return on their investment and didnt want to spend another 5+ million dollars and wait another 2 years.
A new investor however could see some serious gains in a very short time. Only 1 trial left.
Spencer was right that this could be a good thing... thats only if they find funding from elsewhere. Until that happens though....
If a product is good enough, people will invest in it.
5 million is nothing for venture capitalists.
Aderans were either milking their parent company of their cash - only for them to clock on. Or were trying to polish a turd.
Why haven't ARI released their phase 2 results (photographs). Think about it.Comment

We do know they have a working product though. I dont care if it doesnt work THAT well, it still works to a degree and significantly for some patients. I'd want an aderans treatment regardless, anything to improve my shitty situation and let me live my fvcking life.Comment

They tried to tackle a very difficult task and failed at it, why are they supposed to be scams?
If curing baldness was cheap and easy, we would have a product already
To get to the cure we need a lot of failures down the road, that's how life usually works, learning from other people's mistakes
People just have a naively positivity most of the time from any vague news that can be constructed as progressComment

Also, the board are accountable to shareholders, chosen BY shareholders to act FOR shareholders and must report directly to them. I find it highly doubtful that they could produce this intricate scam to steal profits for 10 plus years without shareholder suspicion being aroused.
I think you are being too much of a conspiracy theorist. Aderans Research was not a scam, it was just unsuccessful.Comment

When parent companies produce their accounts they are consolidated with their subsidiaries. That is, the accounts are produced as a group set of accounts. There's NO WAY a parent would just allow a subsidiary to just milk it for cash as profits of a subsidiary directly affect those of its parent company.

It is not working for x reason (insert technical jargon), but we are working on it. (insert more technical jargon). Or he could have over hyped his results when he did make breakthroughs.
what would the board know?
Edit:
The fact that the board of directors changed, tells me, things wern't managed properly.Comment
